I found several good ideas in improving the oral histories we are already doing with church members. I was reminded how special these histories become, especially if they are video-taped, to keep alive the memories of people who are now gone from our lives. It also helps trace our history , understand a different time period, and gain insight into the past. The author explains the steps necessary to record a good oral history.
