A girl in an asylum is quickly writing down her story of how she came to be there. She feels she must hurry because she fears that her fears will be the death of her. Thus, she tells the tale of a stranger in a black car she meets on the road outside her house and his offer to take her for a ride.
In several ways this reminded me of the writing of Edgar Allan Poe, the dark and death themes, the madness, the yearning of the girl and the frantic insistence of getting her story told, and even a bit of H.P. Lovecraft. Although a bit frustrating at some of the abstractness, it got better as it went along. 3.5/5*
