Resolutions - Responsibility In Graphic Design

Rate this book
The idea for this book was born in a course that looked at responsibility in graphic design. Examining what responsibility means to someone working in the field, to the community, to the client and to our planet, it emerges that social design is a core concern. Visual communication is understood worldwide, and is also the language of the designer. Envisioned and created by a team of students at Aalto ARTS, the collaborative project finds special relevance in the slogan, Think global, act local. Filled with diverse illustrations, case studies and conversations, it delves into the many values and actions inherent in living a responsible and contemporary life.
