This collection of inspirational anecdotes, aphorisms and parables is a perennial favourite of mine. It has different sections relating to different aspects of spirituality in everyday life. I have delved into it many times, but I still I seem to find something new each time I pick it up. Apparently this is Sri Chinmoy's best-selling book, which comes as no surprise. I have bought several copies over the years as gifts; it has a timeless wisdom and universal appeal.

A very nice and soul-touching read. It gave me a lot to think about and brought a sense of calm and reflection. It’s not among the very best books I’ve read this year, but it still left a warm and thoughtful impression — definitely worth reading.
