DNF @ 42%.

This is started off enjoyably, but it got bogged down with complex world building that either doesn’t really get explained or is an info dump.

Galeb’s relationship with Lintai just isn’t working for me. He acts like he is all resistant to Lintai’a advances, but goes right along with it. Where’s the stabby boy we started with? And I’m unsure why Lintai put in the clause about no penetration without Galen being willing when he stuck his finger and tongue in his ass without checking first… but I guess he just meant his dick.

And of course, as soon as the ring was mentioned, it was obvious where Kai is. And completely cemented by 1/3 of the way in.

Also, calling a tress of hair, a “tassel” of hair is driving me nuts.

There’s so much going on, but not a lot happening. This could have had so much superfluous information cut to have better pacing. As it stands, I’m bored and calling it quits in the middle of a sex scene.

Odiei o desfecho e a conclusão do livro.

A really enjoyable story, I read it in one sitting and it was a bargain at Smashwords ($2.99 for 79000 odd words)!!!!! Don't be fooled by blurb/description about the book, it's not nearly as dark or as ominous as it suggests.

Liked the fantasy, liked the story. The romantic troubles in the end felt a bit unnecessary, would have preferred more "troubles" in the overall storyline instead.
