Recorder Mind Mapping: A Recorder Fingering Chart How You Think

Rate this book
How this differs from other recorder fingering charts is that it is designed the way the brain actually the right way around. Now you can see in your mind how YOU would play the notes, not see how someone else would play them when in front of you. The issue with other fingering charts is that they are not player-focused - they are audience-focused, depicting the fingerings the 'wrong' way around. A learner has to do mental gymnastics by translating and then reversing the pictures in their mind before 'seeing' the note on their instrument. It's a long-winded way of going about things. Why go through all that pain when you don't have to? Learn as the brain thinks the first time around and then watch your playing go stratospheric as a result. This book is suitable for adults and kids alike. As a bonus, I've included a quick start guide to familiarising yourself with your instrument.

Contains the complete fingerings of the chromatic scale (all the sharps and flats) starting from the lowest note - C - and going up to the highest, high D sharp.
