Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov was a Macedonian philosopher, pedagogue, alchemist, mystic, magus and astrologer. He was a disciple of Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno), the founder of the Universal White Brotherhood.
I love the spiritual vision of O. Mr. Aïvanhov. Far from the rigid vision of religions. Reading his books, it's obvious that we have to do a real insider to take our knowledge of our own mystical experience and not from books or other education. His view of life, his pictures, his teaching are like seeds he sows in each of his listeners or readers in order to germinate a little bit more of humanity. By reading his work we can see that his vision was right and that if we have moved a small step in 40 years, the road is still long for us to take an overall awareness of our spiritual powers, but also responsibilities as Human beings on this small planet.
This book helped me in truly understanding :''that you are what you think''. That thought is energy swelling up from the absolute field of consciousness is something that the mind can conceive and mind eye can see. If you can develop power over thought emerging from the depths of yourself than you can have control on what your mind entertains and what you want to manifest in your life. The tone of the book can be somewhat patronizing but in the end you will certainly enjoy the read.
I love the teachings of Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov. I began studying his teachings in the late 80s, and followed many of his spiritual suggestions such attending the sunrise each morning.(He writes about the power of early morning rays!) He calls many of his teachings, "The Living Book of Nature" and makes connections between us and the life around us. Omraam's teachings were oral and many of his students made certain his words would not be forgotten. Although I've never been one for gurus, I consider Omraam a teacher and a fine one at that. He has many books available and most are timeless and very worthwhile as a read. Sometimes, his teachings may appear "out there" for some...such as bees being from Venus. It works for me. This book was no different. Reading Omraam helps one connect with the spiritual world and how our thoughts and their powers for good or bad affect us and others. Great inspirational read!
Insightful and transformative book that explores the dynamic nature of thoughts as living entities, offering a powerful guide to harness mental energies for personal growth and spiritual evolution.
