Vivek Chandran was born in Palakkad, Kerala. He attended Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Palakkad before graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication from Government Engineering College, Thrissur. He then did his Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Science. He then pursued his career in General Motors Technical Center, Bangalore for five years. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department of BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus.

പാലക്കാട് ജനനം. തൃശ്ശൂർ ഗവ: എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജിൽ നിന്നും ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ് ആൻഡ് കമ്മ്യുണിക്കേഷനിൽ ബിരുദം, ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സയൻസിൽ നിന്നും എയ്റോസ്പേസ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദം. പഠനത്തിന് ശേഷം അഞ്ചു വർഷം ജനറൽ മോട്ടേഴ്‌സിന്റെ ബാംഗ്ലൂർ ടെക്ക് സെന്ററിൽ സീനിയർ എഞ്ചിനീയറായി ജോലി ചെയ്തു. ഇപ്പോൾ ബിറ്റ്‌സ് പിലാനിയുടെ ഗോവ ക്യാമ്പസ്സിൽ അധ്യാപകനായി ജോലി നോക്കുന്നു.
