The Meeting of a Lifetime!

A rush hour fender bender on a sweltering summer day is usually not a positive experience. But when Steve, depressed and miserable, literally runs into Len on an especially bad day, the stage is set for a life changing experience of the first magnitude -- Steve has unwittingly placed himself in the hands of a master motivator and attitude adjuster. As Steve begins to improve his outlook (and his life!), he starts to see the ways in which Len has touched the lives of countless others.

Len waits in these pages, and he has a message for you, too. Read Freedom From Fear and let him change your life today.

If you want to get your life in order FAST, then this book will tell you the steps to take, along with touching short stories. Sure, you can get the same info in a dozen other books, but Mark Matteson's 106 pages let you get on with your life -- a life of "enlightened self-interest." Thanks, Mark!

This book is a catalogue of ideas, presented in bit sized chunks for people to consume.

Good thing about this book you can start with any chapter, read and complete on its own.

A very simple book with some punchy statements.

Sometimes we read a good book and in our enthusiasm to tell others about it, we describe it as short. Why? We're trying to set a hook into their fast food, fifteen second sound byte, Tweet induced world and then reel them in by telling them how good the book is. We do this without ill intent. We do it because it's the world we live in.

Freedom from Fear makes one introspect. Fast read and introspect go together like Microsoft goes together with Google. In other words they don't.

Mark tells a simple story, a simple parable where personal effectiveness meets doing the right thing meets caring for and nurturing others along.

Read the book, follow the prompts and answer the questions. Think about what you are reading and allow time for your personal truth to work its way to the surface.

Stop back here in five years and tells about the books you are reading and the people you're hanging out with. I bet you'll have found a way to slow your world down, pass up the drive-through and help others.

I ordered a personal development bundle that was being offered by Trememdous Life Books - which by the way you should check out at www.tremendouslifebooks.com for some great reads. The clearance section is packed with gems that you can pick up for $1-12.

I thought it was so awesome that I gave it to everyone on my management team on year at Christmas. I was in the habit of looking for a great book to give them twice a year and this one made the cut. I have re-read it several times. Wish I had an audio. It would be great for the car.

LOVED this book!!! It was such an inspiration to me and had one of those sad, but feel-good endings. It was given to me by a guy my husband worked with. I was glued from the first paragraph. Short book. Easy read. Such a great message.
