Great quick read. Definitely a once every year read. Top takeaways: As soon as you learn something look to teach it to someone else. This is called dual-plane learning and is the best way to retain. Make a list of seven to 10 habits that you want to adopt. Do what you love so you will always learn more and you will never have to retire. Life is a mirror. What you put out you will see back. We become what we think about. What we meditate on and obsess over we actualize. Read or listen to something inspirational every morning and genuinely compliment people throughout the day.
When I purchase a book and I read it in one week, that means it is interesting. As I read the book I wanted to know more and more about this Ben.
The set up is interesting, people whose life has been change by Ben are paying their last respect to the man. Great book to make us stop and do a self analysis and see how we fit in today's society.
If I have one sentence to describe the book it would be: Where do I stand and where I want to go!
Not a huge fan of self-help books. Some I have really enjoyed and applied. This one had some great stuff in it, but it was just too random for me. I didn't seem cohesive at all.
