This is for 8-year-olds and there were still a few words I didn't recognise :")

Anyway this was a cute read - the humour was impeccable and I laughed out loud quite a lot. I never knew Korean households could be so alike but I found myself really relating with the family dynamic depicted in the stories: mum being the main (and perhaps only) presence in the children's daily life, the casual white lies during parenting and physical discipline for punishment. In a way it felt traumatic to look back at this story and find my child self rather too vividly, but I also appreciate how it made me feel less alone in my experiences.

Obviously my takeaway will not be the same as an 8-year-old's so I don't know valid my review is, but it's my opinion nonetheless.
