A story full of mystery and secrets!

Review copy kindly provided via Reading Alley in exchange for an honest review

5***** stars from me

What an interesting and enjoyable story. Kiss of the silver wolf is the first installment in the Kiss of the Jinni Hunter series, the author has created a beautiful yet slightly dark and full of mystery paranormal world. It is a fast pace short short story which doesn't lack in comparison with a long length story.

Charlene after suffering a sad tragedy she begins her journey with "the world in her shoulders" because besides mourning she has to take care her sweet brother who is said to have been diagnosed a rare genetic disorder. Her life now is filled with secrets, rumors and mysterious people. One of those is Zach who will create strange feelings in her body, because she became instantly attracted to him them moment her eyes laid
upon him.

As for Zach his goal from young age is to find his one-for life mate..and he will in Charlene's eyes but the thing is she doesn't know anything about this world..the question is what will he do about it and how Charlene is going to react when will discover all these things??

Both characters were very lovable and i have to say that i have a sweet spot for Joey Charlene's brother "what a sweet boy" i adored him. In addition to the characters, the background story had this mystery which drew me from the beginning also the twists made it even more interesting. Well i definitely recommend it and i'm looking forward to read more from the author.

Charlene Johnson had been warned her whole life to stay away from her mother's family who she ran away from before Charlene was born. With both of her parents killed and she is now the guardian of her disabled brother, her options are slim, until she meets her mother's father who tells her she always has a place for her and her brother in Eden, Kentucky.

Zack Abingdon has been patiently waiting for his mate, now that she has arrived he has a few hurdles to tackle before she can truly be his. Charlene knows nothing about her families history or the fact that she has shifter blood in her, Zack will have to sweep her off her feet and reveal the secrets her mother kept in order to gain her trust, but there is another threat that could ruin everything if he is not careful.

This was pretty good, not sure if it is a prelude to more but certanly seems that way. I liked Zack, he is a charmer. I felt for Charlene and understood the path her mother chose, all in all a captivating read.

This is the first novella by the talented Sharon Buchbinder that I have had the pleasure of reviewing. In Kiss of the Silver Wolf, she creates a fascinating existence with a variety of paranormal elements made believable, and adding more layers with each disclosure. Miss Buchbinder's world is populated with shifters -- primarily wolf, and the Djinn/werewolf legacy dating back to Biblical times. The author blends authentic lore with compelling characters, and surprising twists, in a well constructed plot.

Charlene Johnson is half-numb with grief and shock from the sudden loss of her parents, who are killed in a single-car accident. She is now the guardian left to care for her severely disabled brother Joey. When the lawyer hands Charlene the medical examiner's report ruling the cause of death a suicide, Charlene doesn't believe the report to be true. So she requests a copy of the report, and copies of all the pictures. She has no idea what she is about to uncover. Meanwhile, Charlene is broke and is forced to relocate to Eden, Kentucky, the very place her mother warned her about years ago.

When Zackary Abingdon, an alpha male, meets Charlene he knows that she is the one for him. She also feels the electrifying bond between them; however, Charlene senses that things are not always what they seem in Eden. Soon, secrets within secrets within secrets unfold, and Charlene has to make a life or death decision. But what should she do? Reject her true nature? Or accept her hidden birthright and her place within the wolf pack? Isn't there a way to live in both worlds?

I applaud Miss Buchbinder for a well written novella that moves along at a good pace, and contains no editing errors. I enjoyed her intriguing characters and really adored the relationship between Zack and Charlene - they truly are soul mates. I'm interested in learning more about special agent Solomon. Will we see a sequel in the future perhaps? Only time will tell.

I highly recommend Kiss of the Silver Wolf. It is an excellent read. I'm looking forward to more from the world of Sharon Buchbinder.

Werewolves have gotten more than their fair share of fantasy/ horror coverage over the the years and it seems that the Jinn are finally getting their place in the son. Usually when werewolves fight against other creatures it is usually vampires, no vamps in this book. This time the Jinn and the werewolves are fighting it out this time. Never happened before.

Authoress Sharon Buchbinder has produced a wonderful story that just about anyone can read and enjoy. I read this story and found myself wanting for more. I am hoping that she will generate several sequels to this work and I hope they are a lot longer. This has all the element of a great story and if the movie producers ever get a hold of it I trust it will translate to the screen very well.

Charlene the main character is left traumatized by the sudden death of her parents. Bereft and alone wallowing in debt, she is left to care for a special needs older brother and the monumental task of completing her doctorate in medicine. The death itself is a mystery as her father has his face torn up and there are strange hairs all over the place. Something about her mother's past was deliberately hidden.

Elaina Solomon a sephardic.Ethiopian Jewess who works for homeland security is investigating paranormal activity near Eden, Kentucky which is were her mother Johanna comes from. Wouldn't you know it there is a feud between the Jinn and werewolves. Going back to the time of Solomon when the werewolves were meant to keep the Jinn under control, th Jinnin their anger have sworn vengeance on the werewolves . The conflict involves killing, rape and vengeance.

At her parent fuineral she learns part of the truth and events in the story propel her to move back to Eden to learn the full truth. Mixed in with a bit of romance this story is riveting. Eliana Solomon is much like the X files, David Mulder, only with more history. People do not take Jinn and werwolves seriously but numbers start adding up that people cannot deny. The war between the Jinn and werewolves goes on.

BRIEF SUMMARY
Charlene's parents died in a car accident that has left her as guardian to her disable brother Joey. With the incoming debts, taking care of her brother and University, she is unable to manage. Charlene has no choice but to move back to her mother's town, Eden, Kentucky. The town, her mother warned her about and where her mate Zach awaits.

THOUGHTS
This book for me was not a bad book, though I was split in the middle at times. I also think to enjoy this book would also depend on the reader and what they like to see in their paranormal books. I gave this book a rating of 3.95 stars, almost a 4, which is still a nice read. The story gave me a feel of more a mystery with unraveling secrets and romance. The town of Eden had a twilight zone feel to it. It had so many secrets.

Zach eagerly awaits his mate " The One" for a long time. The moment he saw Charlene he knew she was the one. He knew he would become the pack leader and needs her by his side, but he still had to wait for her to move to Eden. With feeling the pressure of taking care of her brother and the piling debts, Charlene decided to move back to her mother's town. With the help of Jethro and Rebekkah, Charlene will discover the truth about her family and who she really is. I did enjoy reading the chemistry between Zach and Charlene. The build up to her knowing who and what she is, and the town’s secret was interesting.

Isn’t it amazing when you discover an author who manages to put a different and appealing slant on genres you love reading? Sharon Buchbinder is one such author for me. Anyone who reads my reviews will know that I enjoy science fiction, paranormal, shifter, mysteries, suspense, thrillers and romance amongst others (sorry, very eclectic tastes) and I’m something of a prolific reader. So for something to seem a different slant is quite surprising to me. I’ve read plenty of shifter stories but this is the first one I’ve read where Djinn have also played a prominent role - and it really works well in this enthralling novella!

The characters are robust, well developed and have plenty of intriguing aspects as secrets start to be uncovered and the truth revealed. The plot has so many twist and turns that are detailed and exceptionally well written - to get so much action and turmoil into a novella is very impressive.

The whole story is superbly structured, making it a real page turner. The interpersonal relationships are portrayed emotively and Charlene makes a brilliant, caring, heroine seeking the truth whilst wary of her family’s past revelations impacting on the future of her, her disabled brother and her soulmate. An excellent read, I have no hesitation in highly recommending this brilliant novella and look forward to finding and reading further novels by this author in future!

Thank you to Bewitching Book Tours for supplying an ARC of this novella for me to read in exchange for this, my honest review.

Kiss of the Silver Wolf by Sharon Buchbinder is a short and quick read. Charlene and Zack are the main characters. The attraction when they meet is instantaneous and once they are in the same town together it doesn’t take long for them to act on that attraction. Charlene has a lot to deal with in a short amount of time and we get to know her fairly well. The story is told mainly from her point of view. Zack believes Charlene is his mate and quickly seduces her, soon professing his love. It would have been nice to get a little more history on his character and past. It felt a little rushed due to the length, 106 pages. The story would have benefited from being a little longer to allow events and feelings time to unfold.

This book has an erotic tone woven in and some explicit scenes. There is sex and love as well as secrets, discovery and danger. It is an interesting and entertaining story with a unique plot. It sets up nicely for another story, one with a character that we just get glimpses of in this book. It will leave you wanting to read that story. Sharon Buchbinder shows a lot of promise and you’ll want to keep an eye out for future books by her.

Sharon Buchbinder has created another wonderful tale, filled with characters that pull you into their complex world. It's easy to fall for Charlene Johnson. She's lost her parents and has a brother to care for. The world they created for her isn't reality. She sadly learns that there are many secrets that she doesn't know about.

She meets Zach Abington at her parents visitation. The chemistry is immediate and shocking. Fate has led these two together. With the twists and turns you hope that these two find each other and everything will work out, but evil abounds and its siren's call is hard to resist.

This is a very enjoyable book and it sets up the opportunity for more to come with some of the minor characters in this book. I'm looking forward to reading more of Ms. Buchbinder's books in the future!

**Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book.**

One woman learns her parents have lied for her entire life...

Charlene isn't as ordinary as she thought she was. After the sudden death of her parents, she's discovering family she never knew she had. And she's realizing that her brother may not have the disease she was led to believe he did. His strange behavior on full moons and excessive body hair? Yeah, she's about to learn the truth of their ancestry and it's a supernatural surprise.

Zack has known for a while now that Charlene is meant to be his mate. They will rule the pack one day with her by his side. But just because he knows she's the one for him doesn't mean he's patient enough to wait for fate to work its magic. He'll take every opportunity available to woo his woman and convince her that they belong together.

I usually have really good luck with books from Wild Rose Press. I tend to enjoy the stories even if some of the covers leave a little to be desired. So I had no trouble deciding to request this book. It's paranormal featuring shifter-type creatures with romance. What's not to love? This cover was actually a nice one, by the way. I do think the wolf should have been tinted silver since... well, the title and character of the book are a "silver wolf".

The story started off well, with Charlene's life being turned upside down and a strange run-in with the mysterious Zack that left her rattled. When things get bad enough for Charlene to turn to her estranged family for help, the fun got started. I liked Charlene and Zack and they did have cute chemistry together.

The paranormal elements were interesting, as well. I haven't read a lot about jinnis (genies) and every book I have read that featured those creatures had a different outlook on them. In this book, the jinni are nefarious creatures who wreck havoc among the werewolves. This was a unique take on the jinni and I enjoyed reading about both of the supernatural creatures.

There were some problems, however. I think this book simply wasn't long enough. There is a lot going on and more than just two POVs in this book. It's like two stories running side-by-side and we barely scratch the surface of either of them. I wanted more backstory on the pack and their history with the jinni. I also wanted to see more one-on-one time with our couple.

If this book had been about 100 pages longer, we really could have delved deeper into the story and had better character development. Yes, this is the first book of the series and there is more to come. But from the synopsis of the second book, it appears that Charlene and Zack's story is wrapped up and we're moving on to other characters who were secondary in this book.

I'm inclined to overlook the issues I had with this book because I enjoyed the story, overall. I found Charlene to be inquisitive and Zack to be really sweet. I think the scene with the silver wolf's first meeting was really great and made my heart melt a little.

In closing...
I'm looking forward to reading the next book of the series! Four suns!

While KISS OF THE SILVER WOLF is a werewolf story, there is so much more to this captivating book. The background history of these fascinating creatures is certainly unique, and how their lives are entwined with that of the jinni is even more creative. Characters are shown with distinctive personalities, and I really enjoyed getting to know the main couple and discovering what their hearts desired. Sharon Buchbinder has invented an imaginative werewolf world where futures can be directly changed by countless secrets. KISS OF THE SILVER WOLF has numerous paranormal elements that are particularly original.

Though Charlene Johnson does have friends, she has never felt a lasting closeness with another person except for her immediate family. With her parents now gone because of a bizarre accident in their car, her brother is her only known relative. But during the funeral home visitation, an elderly couple informs Charlene they are relatives and that she should come live in their hometown of Eden, especially since her brother requires special care. Hearing the name of the location where they live, she remembers her mother saying to never visit this town in Kentucky. Yet unforeseen circumstances force Charlene and her sibling to go live in a place she believes should be avoided.

After dreaming for months about the woman who is his chosen mate, werewolf Zack Abingdon is thrilled when she comes to live in Eden. But Charlene’s lack of comprehension about his kind makes it difficult for the pair to get closer. She also does not know about the shape shifting jinni that has caused much anguish in the town, and what trouble it could bring about in her life. Zack wants Charlene to always be in his life, but the huge amount of secrets in Eden keep her from acting on her attraction to the sexy man.

As I read KISS OF THE SILVER WOLF, I found all the facts about werewolves and jinni to be extremely interesting. How Sharon Buchbinder interweaves the history of these two beings is definitely thought-provoking, and their connection to actual historical details added even more enthrallment. It was easy to become caught up in what had taken place centuries ago and then how it led to current happenings in the werewolf community. I really felt for those affected by the evil doings of a jinni and the resulting turmoil this magical spirit caused in innocent lives. Sharon Buchbinder lets her creative imaginings soar to new heights as readers are taken on an adventurous journey.

Zack was a hero that I instantly came to love. His intense craving for a mate is very obvious, and his treatment of Charlene is like a fantasy come true. He is also loyal to his pack, and often showed how much he cares. Charlene has been through a traumatic event, and her reactions are genuine and very convincing. Love for her special needs brother is shown in a number of ways, and I admired her resolve to put him first. There is a strong pull between Zack and Charlene from the moment they come in contact, and the awareness only grows more potent with each new meeting. Sexual experiences are full of sincere feelings plus lots of honesty. Sharon Buchbinder has begun her paranormal series with a very entertaining story, and I am looking forward to more books, in particular one featuring Homeland Security Agent Solomon who is a determined woman. KISS OF THE SILVER WOLF enchants with engaging characters and extraordinary circumstances.

Claudette's Review

Charlene is a scientist studying in neurobiology when her parents are killed in a car accident. She is left alone to look after her severely disabled older brother Joey; but is determined to finish her doctorate and keep Joey in his expensive school.

At her parents funeral she meets an older couple, Jethro and Rebekah Carter who claim to be mother’s relatives, they tell her that she and Joey would be welcomed in Eden, her mother’s hometown and she is touched. Along with Jethro and Rebekah is a handsome silver haired stranger, Zach Abingdon. Charlene is shocked at the attraction between them and is relieved to hear that Zach isn’t a blood relation. For Charlene it is good to meet people who would welcome her and Joey into their lives’ and unlike all her friends, not counsel her to put her brother in a home and get on with her life. But she’s a city girl and her mother never had good things to say about the small town she grew up in. The insurance company refuse to pay her the life insurance because there are concerns regarding their fatal accident. Without the insurance money her brother cannot attend his school, and she finds herself forced to sell up and go to Eden.

It isn’t long before Charlene is demanding answers about her family and bloodline from Jethro who is annoyingly stingy with giving out information.

Eden while on the outside appearing to be a simple town with an old fashioned approach to living is full of secrets.

I am assuming that this book might be one in a series and the author wants to reveal bits of her world bit by bit, much like Jethro. A lot of questions were raised and left unanswered. I can’t blurt out any spoilers but some of the many questions I would like to have answered are: what happened to Zach’s family and the pack he came from? And exactly what happened to the men in Eden?. Also would living in Eden ultimately be enough for Charlene? I liked that the fact that the plot wasn’t predictable and that it included the Jinn as evil enemies. Another major sub plot was the presence of Special Agent Eliana Solomon working for Homeland Security; who are aware of the Jinn and treating them as supernatural terrorists. While it is clear that the Jinn consider the werewolves their enemies; - Why haven’t they wiped them out? Especially considering the town’s small population, and their men so few can they be that much of a threat?

The world building is original and intriguing so if you enjoy shifter romances and are looking for something out of the ordinary, then check out this book.

*This book was provided by the publisher for an honest review!!

Tragedy Strikes in the Johnson home and Charlene becomes the primary caregiver for her disabled brothers. With nothing to their name, the only option for them is to move to a place her mother has forbidden them to go to! Eden, Kentucky. It's the only thing she thinks she can think of doing to survive. Once she arrives she meets the uber smexxxy Zach Abingdon, who believes to be Charlene to be her mate.

With all paranormal love, the secrets held within hinders the beginnings of any relationship, warring in the mind of the one that holds them. Zach holds the key to their blossoming love. He must tell her and tell her soon. Charlene's priority is her family (but doesn't deny her attraction) and Zach's is the same but only in the regards to make her his!! An evil is on the horizon and it is out to crack whatever resolve either of the two have in each other!!

Tension, Tension my dear Sharon Buchbinder!! I totally enjoyed the fast paced paranormal thriller!! Yes it was romantic but it's was thrilling too!! I enjoyed it and can't wait to read more of her her books!! Her characters lept off the page and totally pulled me into the book (white cheddar popcorn and all) and took me for a thrilling ride!! READ IT!!

I tip my Nerd Girl hat to you Sharon and can't wait to read more!!!

Different and dazzling, new to me author Ms. Buchbinder pulls me into her Kiss of the Jinni Hunter Series. This is the first book and it is a short and easy read. This book lays the foundation of the mythos Ms. Buchbinder is creating. In this world, there are shifters and there are "others". These others are from a different world and they happen to be evil and what is considered a Jinni.

These Jinni or as many people know as "genies" are not the sexy fun ones from I Dream of Jeanie. Instead, these are demon like creatures who enjoy raping and violating innocence. When Charlene Johnson's life is turned upside down, she enters this supernatural world. Ms. Buchbinder does a nice job of blending medical science skepticism with old world superstitions. Intermixed with this is a government agency who is only interested in finding out the truth. Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, watch out! The threat is not from above but across dimensions.

This story may be a bit short, but it packs in quite a bit of information and ground work. The pace is nice and fast. The conflicts do feel a little contrived because of a group deliberately keeping information from Charlene. Still, it adds to the overall suspense of the book and ends with a bit of a hook. After reading this book, I want to read the next book immediately. Recommended to paranormal romance readers who like stories about shifters and jinni.

In the wake of a tragedy, Charlene must stay strong. All around her, things are changing. She now faces the responsibility of caring for her disabled brother, trying to make ends meet, and it doesn't get any better. Some strange people she met at the funeral inform her that she will in time, come to Eden and let them help. Little does Charlene know the secrets moving to Eden will unveil.

Eden is a strange little town, and the people in it. Charlene notices little quirks and things that don't add up. Then, she uncovers her destiny that changes her whole perspective on her past and her future.

Suspenseful and eerie, I found this to be a fairly good read. At times, I found Zack to be a little whiny, and didn't feel his character was fully developed. I did enjoy the bits and pieces the author threw in of the mystery about Charlene's heritage. Kiss Of The Silver Wolf is a short read, but full of secrets, suspense and action.
If you enjoy werewolf stories, then you may enjoy Kiss Of The Silver Wolf.

I highly recommend Kiss of the Silver Wolf. It was an enjoyable read.

There was an exciting mix of romance, fun, sex and werewolves! I loved following the story as it unfolded its secrets. The sexy parts made it just right. It is an original story that has a unique approach in the werewolf genre and centers around smart and sexy characters. This story has an intriguing mix of Djinn and werewolf legacy going back to ancient times and authentic lore about both is woven throughout the story. It moves along at a good pace, and has no editing errors that I could see.

Sharon Buchbinder manages to keep the tension high, the characters likable and believable. She keeps the focus on a strong, cohesive family that didn't feel unrealistic. Her secondary characters felt like real people, and the ending sets the stage for the possibility of a sequel.

I’d like to see more about special agent Solomon. Perhaps the sequel will be featuring special agent Solomon. Hint! Hint! Wink! Wink! <^_^>

Kiss of the Silver Wolf is both the first book in the Kiss of the Jinni Hunter series, and also the first book by Sharon Buchbinder that I have read. There are three main characters in this story - Eliana, Charlene, and Zack. Zack is part of the mysterious population of Eden, Charlene is the daughter of an ex-member of that community, and Eliana is a member of Homeland Security.

Charlene and Zack will become a mated pair, and Eliana still has her story to come, I think. As it is, you learn more about the Pack's history, who Oblis is and what he has done, and more about Charlene's parents. This is a jam-packed story with plenty going on. As such, it did seem a bit 'skippy' at times, but it was very easy to get back into the flow of the story.

With no grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow, this is a story that I enjoyed and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

The main focus of this book is sexy but lonely werewolf Zack Abingdon and his intended mate, Charlene Johnson. Before the death of her parents Charlene did not have any contact with her family in Eden and was unaware of the true heritage of her brother and herself. When financial circumstances force her to move to Eden, she slowly learns the truth. This story includes some very spicy sweet romantic scenes.

The other plot line woven through this book is one of Homeland Security Special Agent Eliana Solomon, who is trying to find the portal between worlds so she can close it and keep the world safe from evil, shape shifting jinn. That theme seems to be the focus in book two, Kiss of the Virgin Queen. I liked this book a lot and I think the author did a great job in this quick read novella. I am looking forward to reading book two.

Forced to move to Eden, the one place her mother told her to stay away from, Charlene Johnson’s comes face to face with secrets and Zack, a man of mystery who claims she is his mate in this thrilling paranormal romance. The author has created a fascinating world with some unique elements that promises to be entertaining and I certainly enjoyed this quick introduction to the world of Jinni Hunters but I do have to say that I think the story would have been better if it had been a little longer so that some of the events, elements and world building could have been expanded on, especially as the story is split with events that are taking place with a Homeland Security agent, of course, I am looking forward to reading the next book and finding out how the author precedes with that agent’s story.

I really enjoyed the mythology and how the jinn was woven throughout this story. I found Charlene to be a strong character who, after loss and hardship, was forced to move herself and her brother, Joey, to Eden, the town her mother always told her to stay away from. I loved how the story gets better as Charlene slowly uncovers the truth of her mother's past, the secrets of the town and finding out what is her destiny. Zack and Charlene have really good chemistry together! However, I did want to know more about some of the characters like Zack and Special Agent Solomon. I hope there is a sequel with a little more of their back stories and maybe a little more of Trotter the pig too! Overall, if you like werewolves, mystery and suspense, then give this novella a try.

Paranormal and Romance

I received this book for an honest review.

This story is about a girl named Charlotte who loses both her parents and is left to take care of her brother. She reminded me a lot of a singled-minded professor because all she cared about was science. She was blinded and couldn't see what was in front of her. She learns secrets when she moves to get mother's hometown. She meets Zach and he helps her in his own way. It was difficult to follow some of the time and the scenes jumped around a lot. Honestly I didn't think Charlotte was that smart throughout the book she was naive and she was just too immature sometimes. Zach was my favorite in the book. If you like paranormal I would recommend this book.

Interesting
This was a little different version on werewolves. The jinni was new to me. I felt sorry for Charlene. She had just lost her wonderful, perfect parents. She's left talking care of her special needs brother without any help. Then she starts discovering all of these secrets that have been hidden from her all of her life. She then meets Zack and the sparks fly. The attraction is immediate, but seems impossible. Zack has been waiting forever for his mate. Now that he has found her, will he be able to keep her. There were no cliffhangers. It was a quick read and flowed easily. If you like paranormal romance, then you'll like this book. BUCHBINDER IS UNSTOPPABLE

Kiss of the Silver Wolf is a wonderful work. The story, the characters, the start, the ending, the climax -- all perfectly brainstormed.

Sharon Buchbinder is indeed an elegant craftsman. The twist and turn of the events is a roller coaster ride! So far, her works astonished me. She's unstoppable with her portrayal of her story through showering her audience with in-depth details of her subjects. For this book, she combined myths with medical and scientific facts - factors that are contradicting in nature - yet, she has a gift of using these as the foundation of the book Kiss of the Silver Wolf.

My verdict: I'll try my best to hoard every gem this author will drop!

Jimn story that's not like Aladdin !!

This is a totally new take on the Jinn or Genie story. Add in wolf shape shifters and Sharon Buchbinder has a smashing new series of what could be epic proportions. It starts a little slow, but I promise you, get past the setting up of how our heroine gets back to her mother's hometown of Eden, and you will be very glad you did !! Lots of adventure, plot twists and hot sex. 4☆'s . And I can't wait to read book 2. I received a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

This book gave me whiplash. There is an audience for this, but apparently I am not part of it. I liked the idea of the lore, but honestly this needed to be a full novel for me. I felt like limiting it to a novella kept me from getting the history and the full scope of the community and their lore. There wasn't enough time for relationship development, even for the typical insta-love you find in wolf books. It has huge potential because I was invested in the story and the mysticism of the community; I just wish it were longer so it could have been more in depth.

Kiss of the Silver Wolf is a "curl up in a chair with a glass of wine" kind of book! Sharon Buchbinder weaves the elements of the paranormal with true mystery masterfully. The pace of the book and the "surprises" around the next bend keeps this a page turner. And yet, one falls in love with the characters, rooting them on and hoping for great outcomes. I highly recommend this for "any season" reading.
