Danielle Stuart and the Baumgartners are neighbors. Carrie Baumgartner and Dani become friends, soon lovers.

A fully-clothed Carrie Baumgartner would have been pretty hard to ignore, let alone a topless, unbelievably bronze one, completely covered in coconut-scented oil.
“Come on, Dani.” She waved me out, as if the decision had already been made. “Let’s get some sun together.”
And that was how it began.

Dani is hesitating to get involved with Carrie and Doc since they're married, but they are both so insistent and irresistible that she has no chance to resist them. (She resisted them for long, for some unknown reason – it wasn’t explained, I guess it was only for creating tension.)

Being with Carrie had stirred something in me, but I instinctively know that being with the Baumgartners, Doc and Carrie both together, would color in a world I’d been living in black and white.

Dani’s heart is broken and her marriage nears its end. Everything in her life is unsettled, but now, with the Baumgartners everything feels right.

“I just want you to know that you’re more than welcome. No strings attached. You make Carrie happy, and that makes me happy. Okay?”

Carrie and Doc’s marriage is enviable: their trust in each other, their honesty is incredible and so natural. There is no jealousy, possessiveness or rivalry. I just adored them together.
“How many times did he make you come?” Carrie asked me sleepily as I pulled up the covers.
“Four.” I flushed and looked over at Doc. He was watching me with those dark eyes, looking between the two of us together in bed - "his girls."
“He’s so generous,” she sighed.

About the romance

The erotica is over the top hot. And there is a lot. Not much plot, only more and more new opportunities for having sex. I’m not complaining: I knew what I was getting myself into; it's an erotic story after all.

My favorite quotes.

Favorite Character - Carrie

Jesus that was HOT. Seriously it was cold shower worthy

Mmm yes please Doc.

The characters were really interesting & I felt like i really got to know them during the book. Considering how much sex there was in the book it is surprising how much story the author managed to include. I was so happy with the ending it was lovely.

I would recommend this book & I plan on reading a lot more by this author.

I started reading the Baumgartners series of books because I was looking for some incredible sex scenes and have found Selena Kitt to be very good at describing the sex scenes in very titillating detail. What I have found in every one of these Baumgartners books so far has been an excellent story line with very lovable characters (and some down right despicable characters as well) that also happen to have some VERY steamy sex scenes. This book like all of the Baumgartners books before it did not disappoint. This book like the others in this series before it is well worth reading. I am hooked on the Baumgartners books and will be reading every single one. I actually had goose bumps as I read the ending of this book.

So, what's a girl to do when her marriage is on the way out and she finds herself drawn to the sexy neighbor... Shag her and her husband.

Thi is the fourth book in the Baumgartners Series that I've read. And while I enjoyed it a lot, I'm starting to notice a trend in the plots. There always seems to be the same bonding experiences, the same draws. For instance, the girls always are drawn to Carrie, that's not to say they're not attracted to Doc but it's always Carrie who nabs and shags them first.

This is an easy sexy read, but I feel I should add a warning due to the PTS elements after the main character suffering a miscarriage shortly before the book starts. Having never been through such a thing myself I can't speak from experience but I do know a lot of women can suffer from such a terrible thing happening so if you think this might affect you, I'd advise reading with care.

If you are looking for ON FIRE erotica then look no further!! This is my first Baumgartner book but as I looked to find more in this series I found this is not the first book for these characters. The Baumgartner's have other adventures but this one revolves around the next door neighbor who spots Carrie Baumgartner sun bathing. This intrigue turns into a flaming hot sexual encounter between the women. Through their friendship Dani finds an emotional and sexual connection with Carrie and Doc. There are a bunch of sexual combinations that occur through this story but it wasn't just about the sex. There was this emotional side that I did not see coming but was drawn into all the same.

This specific video review will be included in the December 2018 wrap-up.

So it begins. This is the beginning of Mrs. B and Doc. I have to say, I was skeptical of Ms. Kitt's Baumgartner books because of all the hype. I devoured this one along with the rest. Ms. Kitt does write hot scenes. The fact that she uses a simple plot adds to my enjoyment. A voyeuristic enjoyment is really what it comes down to, because I feel as though I'm watching a seduction.

I think I'm relating to Ms. Kitt's BTB stories more only because she's using places I know in Ann Arbor Michigan. It makes it more real for me and a bit unnerving. Unnerving because I think, what if I had met Mrs. B? Ohh the delights!

Blackraven’s Review:

First, I must say that when I saw there was another installment in The Baumgartner series, I simply jumped for joy and grabbed the book before anyone else had a chance to get their grubby little paws on it. *Evil Laugh*

Ms. Kitt continues to amaze me with the depth that she brings to this series. I’m am completely fascinated with Doc and Carrie, but more importantly with the love they have for one another. They are extremely generous, open-minded individuals who seem to bring joy to everyone they come in contact with and Dani is no exception. Moreover, I enjoyed watching Doc’s alpha male come to light when it came to protecting his “girls” and giving them everything their hearts desired. He’s a gentle giant that I just wanted to take home and keep for myself. Carrie is one lucky woman….so is Dani for when I come to think of it.

There were times that I laughed, cried and wanted to scream at the injustice and pain that both Dani, Mason, Carrie and Doc were experiencing. The tragedy that Dani and Mason found themselves faced with at such a young age ripped my heart out. It’s hard enough for more mature adults to deal with such a tragedy, but for young, college students who are still learning about themselves and trying to find their way in this world, it’s even harder as evidence by the events that play out between Dani and Mason.

The Baumgartners Plus One is a captivating story full of heart, laughter, but most importantly love. Now don’t get me wrong, the sex is smoking hot and will singe your e-reader, but the depth of the characters and the level of emotion that Ms. Kitt will bring out of you as you read more about Doc and Carrie’s journey will simply take your breath away, put a smile on your face, and a tear in your eye. I fall in love with both of these characters more and more with each story.

Ms. Kitt manages to handle a difficult tragedy that can happen to anyone with such finesse that you can’t help but want to read more. In fact, I read this story in one sitting. If you’re looking for a captivating story, full of heart, laughter, and joy, with sex scenes that are guaranteed to keep you wet and wanton throughout the story, then The Baumgartners Plus One is definitely the book to read. Bravo Ms. Kitt and I’m sorry for your loss. Many blessings!

I am not usually into FFM for my menages, but Dani and Carrie established such a great friendship outside of the sex that I didn't mind it at all. That and the fact that it didn't take away from Carrie and Doc's relationship, but added to it.

The story itself was true to life, because a lot of couples lose their way after a tragedy. There is no real way to say how anyone will respond in any given situation, so the fact that one couple may be stronger and another breaks is basically just a coin toss.

Anyway, Selena Kitt did a pretty outstanding job meshing these people lives together. The progression of their relationship as lovers and friends felt natural and was definitely very hot.

Wow, the Baumgartners are just so beyond FABULICIOUS!!!!!!!! The 1st book I read in this series was Babysitting the Baumgartners and I wasn’t that mad about it http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/59... but then I read Meet the Baumgartners and I fell in love!!!! http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/93... - and after reading The Baumgartners Plus One, I am more than HOOKED…….I am addicted to Doc (I still hate this name….) and Carrie and their SMOKING HOT, SEXY, DELICIOUS life.

Selena Kitt certainly knows how to write erotic stories and so far this series is …what? Just totally writes the most incredible, sexy, sensual, hot, sizzling and just beyond SORCHING “love-making” scenes!!!!

What I liked most about this story (okay the sex scenes are …fab) was that it had a good plot, even with the many and I mean MANY sex scenes, there was more than just sex.

The Baumgartner Duo is amazing…they’re gorgeous, sexy, and adventurous and somehow are able to seduce these gorgeous women…babysitter..yes….nanny…yes…and now the next door neighbor! Talk about luck….how many people does that happen to?????

The seduction scenes are …I can’t think of the right words now…but I just want to know how the B’s and the new live-in lover could do a threesome in the front seats of a car!!! That was some hotness!!!!

No condoms, no fear of diseases……it’s all about lots of f/f, f/f/m sex, lots of fluids and licking….okay I guess one can picture it in their head…..

I liked the ending with the departure of their lover and the possibility of something between her and the stripper that did a lap dance…well a bit more than that…when the b’s and Dani were celebrating at a strip club…when Tiffany, the dancer, after giving Dani some fabulous “licks” left saying “My name is Lynn”…ooh could there possibly be a story of Dani & Lynn in the future!!!!!!!!!

So, here I am, eagerly moving onto the next CHAPTER in the BAUMGARTNER’S lives.

The book tells the story of Danielle and her neighbors, Doc and Carrie Baumgartner. The book is the last in the Baumgartner series, but stands alone. Personally it is the only one of the series I have read and I didn’t feel the loss of knowing what went on before, as the story is completely self-contained.

Dani is struggling through the loss of a child six months earlier, and the break-up of her marriage. She watches Carrie sunbathing, aroused when Carrie starts pleasuring herself. Dani – in fact all of the main characters – have a high sex drive. Later she hears the Baumgartners having loud sex through the paper-thin walls of her campus apartment.
When Dani’s husband returns and they get in a fight Carrie and Doc want to help out and she moves in with them. Selena Kitt ramps up the sexual tension at this point, drawing it out in a fine thread until Dani finally succumbs to the temptation offered by the Baumgartners.

The level of sexual content is high, starting in the first of pages and ramping up delightfully throughout, each episode topping the previous. Although the main thread of the book is the sexual content, Selena Kitt weaves a nice storyline throughout of Dani’s loss for her stillborn child and Carrie’s inability to carry a baby full term. The characters come across as real and the writing, as always with Selena, is of a superior quality.

One very minor niggle is that on my Kindle copy the formatting had a nasty habit of indenting blocks of conversation, but this is nothing a little manipulation prior to upload could not fix.

I just love the Baumgartners. They live in this little lovely emotional world where they just love everybody. There's no jealousy, no hard feelings, no STD's, just lots and lots and LOTS of sex. F/F, F/F/M, F/M, oral, anal, phone sex. Damn they have some libido!

This takes us from how Mr and Mrs. B got together to them getting preggers with their first little Baumgartner. In between they bring in Dani, from who's POV the story is told. I have found it very interesting throughout this series that no matter who is telling the tale that Mr and Mrs B always come across the same. Sometimes a different POV brings out a different side to a character, but these two emit nothing but love and hot sex.

There is a serious side to this novel, with a hint at domestic violence and talk of past miscarriages, if either of those are an extreme trigger for anyone, heads up. But through these items, a strong emotional connection was developed between our trio.

I agree with many of the other reviewers that I want to know what happens to Dani. She got her HFN, but not her HEA, and like Mrs. B said in the book, she deserves to be happy.

This is another one to put aside as a tale of my favorite sexy family. 4 stars for me.

Ahhh the Baumgartners. There is not a couple around like them. Anywhere.
I had first read "Babysitting the Baumgartners" a year or so ago and I was blown away with just how hot and smutty the story was. So I thought I'd go back to the beginning of the series to read how it all began. That lead me to this "Plus One" book.

M/F, F/F & F/F/M are the sexual orientations of this book and I swear Selena Kitt writes the best F/F scenes around. I'm not usually drawn to F/F as I am M/M but holy smokes she writes steaming hot intimate scenes.
I also love the actual stories that are included within each of the smutty pages so a total bonus.

In the Baumgartner world you don't need to worry about STDs, condoms or jealousy. The stories are not sexually realistic (orgasm multiples and Doc, Mr Baumgartner's stamina is unprecedented) however, if you just go with it and just enjoy it, the choreographed and frequent intimate scenes are sure to please. The fantasy of a triad relationship is front and center and it is nice to just immerse yourself in the fictional possibility. Loved it!

Loved It! Smokin' HOT!

As I have with all the Baumgartner Books. Boy I wish I was Carrie!

I had no idea Ms. Kitt was releasing another one of this series! After reading Meet The Baumgartners, I thought that it was the last of that series. Holy, was I thrilled when I got the Selena Kitt newsletter to see yet another one! Downloaded it and read it in a day, putting my other books on hold for the day!

This is a true Selena Kitt wet panties kinda book, but it had me tearing up a few times, so you may need a tissues or two. I love that she can write an erotica book where you get to know the characters and feel for them without giving up the super hot sex!

Enjoy!

Just finished The Baumgartners Plus one.
This is top shelf erotica, the book just seethes with sexual chemistry, my god, I didn't think anything so hot and erotic could be captured so perfectly. Selena Kitt just keeps knocking them out of the park with The Baumgarters.
I like the story line, taking us back to the early days, when Doc and Carrie were living in the university's married quarters. Carrie meets and gets to know her neighbor, Danielle Stuart. This gives the characters more depth, we discover that both women are struggling with major problems that seem to have no easy solution. Getting Danielle out a messy situation brings her into the Baumgartner's lives, and especially into their love life. Lots of hot, very charged erotic scenes, and Danielle may have a solution to Carrie's problem that will change all their lives.
A very sweet ending.

I love the Baumgartners! I just LOVE THEM. I love this prequel too. It's the second one with Meet The Baumgartners being the first. I love that they were just freaky from the beginning. Ms. Kitt is the queen of book porn for me. And I am going to miss the Baumgartners! I'm hoping Dani will get her own story. I want to know what happens to her. Is she the God mother to one of the kids? Did I read that in one of the books?

Anywyay, sexy, funny, and did I mention sexy? If you have read any of the Baumgartners, this is a must read. If you haven't, then what the heck are you waiting for?

As I mentioned in my other short review of a different Baumgartners book, this series is seriously sexy. It's a great read that has TONS of sex. So don't read it unless you are interested in erotica. However, unlike many erotica authors, Selena Kitt does not struggle with weaving in loving and emotionally intelligent characters. You don't feel dirty reading this series because all of the sex is consentual and taking place in a positive environment. Not that other erotica books that aren't like this should make you feel dirty...that's not what I meant. I guess what I mean is...if you are new to the erotica genre, this may be a good place to start because the books are HOT, HOT, HOT but not totally and completely freaky...just awesome freaky. :)

We welcome Danielle into the Baumgartner family in this installment.

After Carrie befriends her neighbor, Danielle - an attraction begins to grow. Danielle never imagined she'd be seduced by the young couple, but after spying on their sex one night - she can't think of anything else.

This was a hot story! I loved Danielle's character and am glad she's one that gets to revisit during this series.

I failed to review this promptly after finishing, in fact I got backed up by about 50 titles, so these reviews are short - cause I got shit to do!

But this is a must read series! Be prepared to be wildly turned on the entire time!

Told from Dani's POV from her attraction to the hot topless sunbathing neighbor Carrie, to her failed marriage and then her moving into Carrie and Docs house and eventually bed. So plenty of things going on in this story.

Plenty of f/f and even all three of them together. There is also one quick spanking and anal play so be warned if you don't enjoy reading that.

I just love Carrie and Doc and Dani fit in with them perfectly. A little shy at first but then Carrie brought her out of her self-induced grief shell.

Does end happy and I can't wait to read on.

This book delivers exactly what you might expect it to. It is steamy and smutty and over the top in the best possible way. It continues the story and the characters of the series in a way that works well for the story and keeps you hooked in the entire time. It's a well written, fast fast-paced read that will definitely have you blushing in more ways than one. If you're looking for a satisfying and over-the-top then this one is perfect for you!!

Meh? I had high hopes even though romance is my least favorite genre. The only erotica I've ever given a five star to was another of Selena Kitt's books so I was really hoping this would be along the same lines but it just didn't do it for me. The sex scenes and dialogue were *so* repetitive that I skimmed the last 25% and I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything.

I was quite surprised at the emotional depth of the story. Danielle has quite the back story for someone still so young and reading from her POV made it all the more real. At times, I had a love/hate relationship with all of the characters, but most especially with Mason.

The ending left me the most shocked although in thinking back, I guess it shouldn't have. No doubt there is at the very least a HFN and how Ms. Kitt goes about it is incredible. However, after becoming somewhat attached to both Danielle and the Baumgartners, I really would like to have seen if that HFN could turn into a HEA.

Ms. Kitt never fails in keeping the storyline unpredictable, so even though we may not know where we're going when reading one of her stories, there's always plenty of sizzling erotica to enjoy while we get there. If you're a reader not afraid of exploring a more wickedly adventurous and uninhibited side of a ménage relationship, then this book will surely appeal to you.

It's the Baumgartners, what do you expect? Of-course, Doc and Mrs. B do not disappoint when it comes to over indulging in all things sexual. If you have read any of the others in this series, I am certain you know what I am talking about. It is another great and smutty addition to the Baumgartner saga!

Another great installment to the Baumgartners. It might be the last. I thought this was a sort of sweet story. Women bonding over lost children or inability to carry to term. Thankfully I have never experienced that, and I can't imagine the utter sense of loss. And of course, Doc and Carrie are freaks in the most positive sense of the word, lol. They love each other, and they love including others, so they include Dani. I thought Dani's "gift" was extremely selfless, and I cried a bit at the end, but it was a great story. Don't worry, though... lots of luscious hedonism along the way, as with many Selena Kitt stories!

The Baumgartners Plus One is book 0.5 in the menage erotica Baumgartners Series by Selena Kitt. Dani is a college student and having marital problems. Her husband is hot but immature and they're both suffering from the loss of their baby. When Doc and Carrie move in next door, she finds herself drawn to Carrie and the two begin a sexual relationship. Eventually, the twosome becomes a threesome. The sex is hot, but the relationship issues and loss of her child, turn an erotic story into a depressing one. I love Carrie and Doc, they're a hot couple and I love reading about their adventures.

Another hot, hot, hot installment in the Baumgartner series. This one had a great story to go along with it too. I'm not embarrassed to say that I"m a bit in love with both Carrie and Doc at this point! I love the way the characters have developed (though I haven't read them in order) and it just seems like they are such warm people - the kind of friends you'd like to have for real...sex-crazed friends...but aren't they the best kind anyway?
