New York Minute: There's Something About Roxy

Rate this book
There's something about roxy...

Something cool that snags her a hot job on a music video. Something wild that lands her on stage with a rock band. Something mischievous that pulls her sister Jane into trouble. Something sweet that finds her the romance of her life

A cheesy, lighthearted read. I’m going through all my old books before donating them to the charity shop and I’ve come across a lot of Mary-Kate and Ashley books in my collection. These books are definitely aimed at younger readers and my young self loved all of their books. I’m not sure I get the same enjoyment out of this book as I did back then but it’s an easy read with a nice enough plot line. Great for anyone who doesn’t want anything deep or meaningful to read.

I didn't know there was this book about Roxy before New York minute. It feels like the girls get on a bit better than how it starts in New York minute. I feel like there will always end up being a boy somewhere for one of them.

I was a huge fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and was on an endeavour to collect all their movies and books.

I originally watched the movie NEW YORK MINUTE and when I found out there were books too, I had to buy them!

What a cheesy book! It's so...happy, in a hoppy-skippy way. My 9 year old self would probably like it. I can't believe I used to read a lot of these Mary-Kate and Ashley books. *facepalm*

This book was cute. It tied into the movie, which I love, so I thought I'd give the books a try when I found them in the dollar store. I think it's a fun and sweet story for anyone to read.
