Fallen angel Kokabiel's slice of life. When you come home from the battle you should be able to cuddle with your lover, right? Not deal with missions and Lucifer's demands to autograph pictures for demons.
Written for The Supernatural Song Fiction Contest over at Aarin. Have chosen the song Indestructible by Disturbed and used it as inspiration for the fic and for the characterization of the main character, and went with angels as the supernatural creatures.
Since I'm using Hebrew source in which Lucifer is an angel, who was exiled from Heaven, while Devil = Satan is an entity that challenged the religious faith of humans, Lucifer is in here the Main Director, while Devil is the Owner of Hell. Well, the Devil is only mentioned once, but I just thought you should know.

I really like the premise... the soul as the battlefield. I could only wish it were longer. Good characters, angels both good and fallen, and the reason for the fall :)
I liked this short story. The readers get a glimpse into a biblical fantasy world, a little different than usual, as we meet the protagonist, Kokakiel. It's sweet, a little funny and has a small erotic scene. Overall, I would recommend it :).
A nice snippet of romance mixed with some interesting takes on theology. I get a sense that the author has much more to say & wonder why this is so short. It's good, but hints at unexplored depths.
Indestructible is about a love story between two boys and it's get's very dirty at the end. Just a random book I came across but ended up liking it in the end.
This free short story was rather confusing. It starts off with two men in a room. The man’s name is Kokabiel but they don’t mention the name of the other man. They are obviously both demons or so it seems. The scene changes and Kokabiel is talking to Lucifer about how she was in love with Her. They keep talking about Her like we are supposed to know who She is. Those two first scenes were confusing. The scene changes and it is a battle scene. Here was when it got interesting. The battle scene was written pretty well and then it was done. It was basically the battle between good and evil. It was Kokabiel against an angel. He kills him, but then feels remorse for him. The next scene was Kokabiel back in his room with the same man from the beginning. The sex scene at the end was pretty good as well but that is about it. This author knows how to write sex and battle scenes. Everything else sucked. That’s all.
There were a lot of things I liked about this story. I liked the use of Judeo-Christian mythology without even a whiff of proselytization. I like the subtly. There were a number of things that you were never told directly, but the events and contexts told you. I liked the fun way the genders of some well-known characters were swapped around. What I didn't like was that that it felt incomplete. Even the title, Indestructible, is predicated on an event that the importance of is never explained. I think this would be much better as a longer piece. But as it stands it's still pretty entertaining.
Angels Vs. Demons in a quite literal battle for the soul. Everyone knows love is a battlefield.
This is an interesting premise for a short and sets up the scenario quite well but I'm not sure if there is a full length novel in this idea without some more invention.
At only 12 pages, it's a bad sign when I find myself checking to see how much is left. But, that may have had as much to do with my state of mind as that of the author's skill. There's nothing terribly egregious here and the idea is the start of a good one. I may want to read more some day.
Lucifer is a woman, in love with Her, God, also a woman. The story is of Kokobiel the indestructible demon and his lover the angel. It was so interesting and would be a great longer book. Very inventive and creative aspects.
