The day before I picked up and finished this piece of garbage I watched The Lonely Island's feature-length film Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. In the movie's loosely defined storyline, the major conflict is over ownership of a catchphrase lyric. One of the highlights of the movie is a bit where Conner4Real's well-received feature on another artist's song is just a mash up of catchy phrases.
That's all Dragon Spirit is: a mash up of catchy phrases meant to inspire you on your journey as a Zentrepreneur. Nothing of substance here, just a collection of motivational posters hinging on cringy puns inside a pretty cover:
Chapter Two: Passion / Paint Your Passion---What Color Are Hue? Chapter Three: Perseverance / Weathering the Daze---Reign and Shine Chapter Five: Individuality / When to Play---Play to Win Chapter Nine: Doing Good / Take a Stand---Be Care Full
Yup, it's full of these bad dad jokes poorly edited (page 135: "But only if your lucky." That's why you can skim it and forget it.
Literally bought the book for its cover on the first day of the dragon lunar new year. It’s not bad but a tad corny with concepts I learned in my youth. Cute dragon tho and maybe better suited for a newbie.
