A former lawyer, she left her demanding career to pursue a calmer, more centered lifestyle and encourage others to do the same. She founded the Simple Living newsletter and wrote The Simple Living Guide, followed by Simple Loving. Luhrs has appeared widely in American and Canadian media, including Oprah and NPR.

This author wrote SIMPLE LIVING, and it's one of my favorite books ever. Didn't like this one so much. Maybe it's because I'm not looking for a great love, I already have one. Didn't do anything at all for me. Skimmed the last half.

I studied this book after Simple Living Guide and learned so much about love.
