An early-reader book about the many different types of rocks. Rhyming verses discuss rocks that float and rocks that sink, and many other differences among rocks. Great for introducing geology to small children.

An easy reader for S. He did well with this one, although it wasn't his favorite. It was just a random selection I picked out for him at the library.

This is a simple easy reader book for younger children. With a short, rhyming narrative and colorful illustrations, this is a fun book to read aloud together. Our girls are getting too old for these kinds of books, but I just couldn't resist - they are always bringing home rocks (I mean crystals) from school, the bus stop, the yard, etc. We enjoyed reading this story together.
