This cyborg seeks to vanquish an ancient entity and save his curvy human female.
Euryale made a terrible mistake. She opened a container she shouldn’t have touched and released one of the oldest lifeforms in existence. That all-powerful entity is now utilizing her as its host and is slowly draining her energy.
Soon, she’ll die.
Euryale has accepted this fate and is determined to use her remaining moments in the universe to save as many lives as she can.
Her plans do NOT include a smoldering hot, poetry-wielding cyborg willing to decimate entire planets to save her.
While under the control of the Humanoid Alliance, Strive, a K Model cyborg, disobeyed direct orders and refused to kill on their behalf. If he hadn’t escaped their cruel clutches, his defiance would have led to his death.
The male knowingly risked that fate to save the lifespans of complete strangers.
There is nothing he wouldn’t do to protect Euryale. The curvy human female is his genetic match, the one being he is destined to defend.
And she is in danger.
Strive would break every vow, cross every boundary, risk absolutely everything to keep her from harm.
Including battle a deity no one has ever defeated.
USA Today bestselling author Cynthia Sax writes steamy cyborg and alien romances. Her stories have been featured in Star Magazine, on TV, and numerous romance top ten lists.
When she isn't writing, she's traveling the world with her Dear Wonderful Hubby, meeting new people, visiting new places.
Strive knew his female by her scent on a bag now he must go to her and find out how to help her. Euryale was trying to neutralize old objects from becoming weapons but a old deity took possession of her body never to be free again. Can Strive help or will it become hopeless? Highly recommend this book and series.
We're back with the cyborgs and their genetic matches and Strive's lady is tangled up with something dangerous and kind of immortal. Which isn't terrible because the cyborgs are ridiculously long-lived already (provided they don't get themselves killed or otherwise fatally damaged during a mission) and Adam (the deity Euryale is hosting) is strong enough to keep anyone safe.
Well, wait. Adam's extreme energy is actually killing Euryale before Strive gets to her. It takes some wooing and a liberal application of Strive's nanocybotics (if you know what I mean) before Euryale has a future to look forward to. That said, she and Strive (and Adam) are stuck planetside while another escaped deity causes a little havoc in the outside world. You know, this sounds complicated. It's really not. There are powerful artifacts, powerful deities, and a cyborg who isn't about to let his one and only die if he has anything to say about it.
A little artistic creativity, some sweet talking, a deity who is not at all amused by how often Euryale and Strive need to get physical (go to your safe place, Adam! HAHAHA), and a little power flex by said deity (seriously, Adam's strikes fear into the hearts of the Humanoid Alliance) and BOOM another cyborg finds his happily every after with the lady of his dreams. GOOD STUFF!
Outstanding! I always love these sexy cyborg stories from Ms. Sax! This one has a fascinating twist in the form of Adam, an ancient lifeform. Strive finally finds his ‘one,’ Euryale, but they are stuck in a volatile situation. Will they escape safely? Will Euryale survive Adam? Will they achieve their happily ever after? The answers will surprise you. Vastly entertaining!
Stryve's match is the female from previous book, who hosts an ancient deity. Euryale is slowly dying from Adam's powerful energy. Stryve is the one cyborg with artistic creativity. As Euryale said, there are other uses for weapons. 😊 Adam is definitely a powerful being. Cute. Really liked this one.
Cynthia Sax's Cyborg stories are favorites. Her cyborgs have diverse and entertaining personalities and, the smart, sassy women who love them are unique too. Strive is less warlike than most cyborgs, but he still can protect those he cares about. Just make sure you don't anger Adam. Wow! A fun read. Enjoy!
I'm a sucker for the author's oh-so-earnest cyborgs. Strive is great because he would rather make art than war. Which works out since negotiating with minor deity for the woman he loves works a lot better than trying fight something that folds its enemies into nothingness.
Strive with his gentle heart and love of creating. He sure got a woman that was everything he needed. Plus a deity I'm not quite sure he did need! But Adam is quite the character, I must say. Definitely another good one to add to the collection!
I enjoyed this story between Strive and Euryale, however the resolution of the issue of Adam was a little lacking for me, I felt a lot more could have been done with the storyline.
