A group of delightful teddy bears engaged in a variety of activities introduces the numbers one through twelve to the youngest readers, in a board-book edition of a counting book. By the creators of Calendarbears.
This rhyming counting book features old fashioned-style pictures of teddy bears and toys. The narrative is subtle about the numbers, unlike many counting books, and it would be fun to read this book aloud with a child to count the items on each page. I really liked the book, especially because of the old fashioned illustrations, but I'm not sure it will appeal to younger children compared to other books.
This is a favorite of my younger ones and so I've read this so many times I've decided to give myself credit for it for my reading challenge this year.
This book is OK. The pictures are fun, but I find the rhyme annoying and some of the rhythm for poetry not quite right. The children love it though.
A very easy read. The illustrations and colors really appeal to a younger audience. The title is also very creative. A fun book to read to children who are learning to count, it will hold their attention.
This book is a creative way to introduce counting with everyday objects and events. This book would be a great way to help aid counting in lower elementary aged classroom.
This book is an easy read for younger kids. It helps them with counting by using bears so it is a fun read. This could be used along with a math lesson.
