소설가 한강이 선보이는 어른을 위한 동화. 보잘것없는 풀 한 포기가 태양보다 밝고 빛보다 환한 꽃으로 성장하기까지 치러내야 했던 절망과 시련을 보여준다. 상처가 깊으면, 삶의 환희도 크다는 메시지를 전한다.
