First off, a solid 4/5! Despite the missing PDF from the library, which wasn't the author's fault and posed a challenge to fully visualize certain details, this audiobook still delivers. Secondly, it left me itching to resume kick-boxing and be more mindful of my surroundings. Overall, I breezed through it pretty quickly and would definitely recommend!

This book is a must read for all females or minorities that need to learn the basic or self-defence or need a refresher. I know this is a book I will peruse often to refresh my memory over time.
There are directions, pictures and a whole of lot of information of the best way to combat an attack from someone.
Absolutely essential reading for anyone who wants to feel confident in their ability to fight if they find themselves in a situation where they need to fight.

I liked the books teachings around resetting your mindset and becoming more in tune with your own power. However, for the martial arts techniques and how to guides, I feel like I’d honestly need to practise and study the book which at this moment in time- Ceebs. If I owned the book alongside doing a martial arts, I would have ate it up.
