Paige Darlington has a problem. See, she's the former apprentice to Satan's right hand, Becka Gibbs. As a result, she's got this pretty much all consuming need to be bad... not her fault, right? Well, that will be a small comfort when she loses all human emotions, including the ability to love and care about those who matter to her.

To keep his brother alive, Jed Buchanan works for Satan Jr., the heir to hell and the most evil being in existence. Jed has been forced to do a lot of unsavory things during his time on the "job" and his latest assignment - killing Becka Gibbs - isn't pleasant either. It only gets more complicated when he arrives at Becka's apartment, and inadvertently attacks Paige, a beautiful, sexy demon who decides that saving his black soul will be just the thing to keep her own from rotting.

Was I supposed to giggle so much?
Paige, the Rivka, had me tittering all over the place.
And Jed wasn't half bad. He was able to give as good as he got.
And let's not get into the swooning mess I became.

Paige, with all her purity and embrace of life, needed him, an evil bastard with no redeeming traits at all.

Paige was a newbie Rivka, who quit her job serving Satan, and discovered something horrific about herself... her touch killed anything and anyone with goodness inside. The girl who loved people, who craved intimacy, who wanted to explore everything the world had to offer, couldn't touch her nearest and dearest. She had never felt more alone. And then she met Jed, who not only could withstand her touch, he didn't die, and he could possibly help her rid herself of the killer wraith.

Leather, muscles, and a badass attitude? This was her kind of guy.

I loved this book! Loved it!! And seriously, if I wasn't so disappointed by the ending, I would have given it all of the stars. Written beautifully, full of sunshine, suspense, sensuality, and substance, this story made me laugh and sigh and love. I think I would have loved it even more if I read the books that came before it (which I will be remedying forthwith). I loved Paige. I loved Jed. I loved Rafi. I loved Theresa. I found Satan and his son to be hilarious. I want to know more about Derek, Quinn, Justine, Becca... gosh, I want to know everyone! I'll definitely be reading more from this author!

TO KISS A DEMON is the fourth instalment in Stephanie Rowe’s contemporary, adult IMMORTALLY SEXY paranormal/fantasy dystopian romance series. This is Satan’s former Rivka Paige Darlington, and immortal assassin Jed Buchanan’s story line. TO KISS A DEMON can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

NOTE: TO KISS A DEMON is the re-release of the author’s 2007 SEX AND THE IMMORTAL BAD BOY.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Jed and Paige) TO KISS A DEMON follows immortal assassin Jed Buchanan as he is assigned by Satan to take down his top minion Becca Gibbs (Devil’s Curse #3). Several months earlier, Satan created Paige Darlington to be his next soul harvester but having helped saved the life of Becca Gibbs, Paige started to like the feeling of harvesting black souls. Fast forward to present day wherein Satan has now tasked Jed Buchanan to take the life of Becca Gibbs but along the way our hero falls for Satan’s latest creation, the soon to be Wraith, Paige Darlington. What ensues is the building relationship between Paige and Jed, as our couple must come to terms with several life altering decisions wherein one or both must sacrifice their life.

Paige Darlington is changing; she is a weaponized immortal whose touch is deadly, and in this Paige is a wanted immortal but the more Paige kills, the more she continues to change. In an effort to save the world, Paige must forfeit her life, or be allowed to destroy humankind. Jed Buchanan is torn between his love for his brother, and his love for a woman who is soon to be the ultimate evil. Jed’s brother Raphael has found himself a prisoner of Satan Jr, and Jed is hoping to free Rafi from a future as another immortal assassin.

The relationship between Jed and Paige is one of immediate attraction but Paige’s power to kill is deadly to every living creature except for our story line hero, and herein lies a problem, as Paige needs Jed to protect mankind, but Jed needs to destroy Paige to save the brother he loves. The $ex scenes are passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters that have been previously introduced throughout the series including Satan and Satan Jr, as well as Jed’s brother Raphael.

TO KISS A DEMON is a story of family, friendships, betrayal and revenge. Because the previous book in the series was released fourteen years ago, I highly recommend reading the series in order as there is too much ‘missing information’ to get a complete picture of what has happened in the past to illicit the problems in the current timeline. The first instalment in the series TO DATE AN IMMORTAL was originally released fifteen years ago but is currently available for FREE at most ebook retailers. The fast paced premise is detailed, complex and intriguing; the romance is captivating; the characters are desperate, broken, charismatic and dynamic.

Guys,

You legit have to ready this book if you have followed An Immortally Sexy series. Let me tell you, this book is AH-MAZ-ING!!!!!

So I pretty much devoured it in one sitting. I love Paige and Jed, they are such a complete mess and adorable together 😊

Ok now down to the good stuff with out giving things away. I know I know, sometimes it’s nice to get the spoilers and I love reading them but I’ll leave this one for you to find out.

Back to Jed and Paige, if you read the last book you remember Paige. She is such an amazing character. Tells it how it is, blunt but with a dash of sunshine ☀️ (see what I did there hehe), especially considering how long she’s been around. I was stressing soooo much about what was going on with her and sitting at the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen.

And then Jed and his issues lol everything with Rafi killed me. I just wanted it to work out, I mean who doesn’t. The struggle was real between them and then add in everything else that’s as going on. Ugh 😑 haha

I loved seeing the characters from the previous books, it was awesome to see them there and involved with Paige.

If you love a good arse kicking, non traditional, action back love story this is for you! If you haven’t read the others, I definitely recommend it. The whole series is amazing. This book just adds to it. Stephanie Rowe truly knows how to captive her audience.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this novel. The opinions stated are my own.

So cute! Paige is too funny and the way she got jed's heart, fabulous! And the scene outside the angel bar where theresa and Dani were criticizing her granny panties, but making her wear a sheer bra and a thong causing Jed to tell her that there was nothing wrong with her original undies? *sigh* wish my hubby didn't care about grannies. :) I loved the teeny tiny interaction between Rafi and Mona...maybe we'll see them again? And I so hope that Satan and Iris get together again....I love them together. I wasn't sure what to expect from this series, but 4 books in and I LOVE Stephanie Rowe's style and her characters. Each girl has her own personality without being unlikable or too unidentifiable. I will absolutely read anything that follows!

This was such a fun and quirky book, full of banter, humour, action, suspense, twists and steam. The characters were just so entertaining and I laughed out loud, throughout. I'm looking for more of this kind of reading adventure from this author as the series continues :)

As seen on my blog (Jessie's Reading Corner):
Stephanie Rowe once again knocks it out of the park with To Kiss a Demon; book four in her Immortally Sexy series. This is my first paranormal romance book that I’ve read by Stephanie Rowe and it won’t be my last. I will admit, I’m not that big of a paranormal romance reader but I had the opportunity to read and review this as an ARC and I took the chance, considering I’ve loved all her books that I’ve read so far. This book definitely surpassed my expectations!

Having said that, the first chapter (since I’m brand new to her Immortally Sexy series) had me scratching my head and wondering what I had gotten myself into but I stuck with it and became immersed in the story and the characters; especially Paige and Jed!

Paige and Jed were such interesting characters! I loved how strong and goofy Paige was. My heart went out to Jed in his quest to try and save both Paige and Rafi (his brother). I loved how Paige and Jed both looked out for and sought each other out. Even though their situation is pretty dire, they never lose faith in each other that they will come up with a solution and they trust that the other person will make the right decision. Watching them fall in love with each other was also special. You may need tissues because you will definitely be feeling the emotions in this book.

I am most definitely going to be reading this series from the beginning just so I can get a fuller picture of everything that led up to this book.

Thank you Stephanie for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for a review! I can’t wait to see where you go next with this series!

Other observations I made while reading To Kiss a Demon:

Satan and Satan Jr. remind me of Tom Ellis’ Lucifer.
Stephanie legit had me busting out laughing in Chapter 18 and again in Chapter 22. (Those aren’t the only ones, but they’re the ones that I full on laughed out loud while reading them and I jotted the chapters down.)
For those who like steam with their romance, this is definitely one of Stephanie’s steamier romances.
Story is told in a dual, third person POV.
If you are a paranormal reader and like your romances funny, steamy and suspenseful, you need to read this when it becomes available!

This book is insane. But in, like, the best ways. Essentially every character is affiliated with Satan in some way, and chaos reigns. Paige is a Rivka, basically a soul collector for Satan, but she essentially quit her job (can you quit your job if Satan is your boss? Apparently). But her soul is tainted, and she wants to enlist the help of an angel - until she accidentally incinerates one, and discovers she’s on the fast track to becoming Satan’s ultimate weapon, and she’s now on everyone’s hit list. She’s also unable to touch anyone with any amount of purity in them, or she immediately kills them. Jed is a shadow warrior, contracted to kill. He’s hired by Satan Jr, yes, Junior, to kill Paige’s best friend, but he finds Paige instead. Jed is trying to protect his brother from Junior, and a contract they made, and has been killing for years to uphold his end of the bargain - essentially having sold his soul to Junior for his brother’s safety. As a result, Paige can touch him without hurting him.

Their arrangement is pretty hysterical. She agrees to pay him to protect her from herself, help her keep herself in check when her inner wraith starts to take over and she wants to kill anything in sight, and she can touch him as much as she wants. They’re constantly lusting after each other, but she thinks keeping herself a virgin will help keep her wraith at bay, so she won’t let things go too far. As they try to figure out a way to reverse what’s happening to her, they are catapulted through situations that are both action packed and crazy. Not to mention that they keep stopping to make out in the middle of these events because they can’t keep their hands off each other. But neither believes they are capable of love, it’s just lust that is fueling them, and their banter is casual, sexy, and fun. Ultimately, as things come to a head, the intensity builds on all fronts, and as the action increases, so does the spice. Also, the interactions with Satan and Satan Jr, classic. They are seriously funny, himbo types but insanely powerful and dangerous at the same time. It’s definitely a different spin on Satan from what I’ve seen in others books, and it’s a lot of fun.

Overall, this book is a trip. A lot of fun, very spicy, and a fast paced story that keeps you interested right to the end.

This is the first book I have read in this series and while I felt a bit lost in the first few pages, the story quickly grabbed me and did not let me go making it irrelevant that I had not read the first three books. It was a roller coaster of a ride as I accompanied Paige and Jed on their adorably, messy, hilarious, steamy, sort of evil, sort of angelic but inevitable journey to their HEA. Paige is a Rivka who no longer works for Satan and is happy to be free until she discovers she’s a harboring a ticking time bomb wraith inside her who can destroy the world. Jed is a shadow warrior working as an assassin for Satan, Jr in order to save his brother, Rafi. He stumbles upon Paige while looking for his latest target and agrees to be her guard her from herself while she tries to hold on to her goodness. The story includes what you’d expect from this genre - fighting, dangerous situations, end of the world scenarios, paranormal creatures, evil masterminds, henchmen, loyal friends and family, tragic back stories, plot twists. mystical coincidences, snark, and laughs. It also includes witty dialogue, characters with depth, and an engaging storyline. Expect to laugh, to cry, to grit your teeth, to cringe, and to root for Paige and Jed to find happiness and save themselves along with Rafi. I will definitely be reading more of this series.

What’s it like when every time you touch anything that’s alive, you kill it? That’s what is happening to sassy newbie Rivka, Paige, freshly out of service to the Big S (Satan), and her friends search to find out why she kills everything she touches.

Why is her touch suddenly deadly? And why is Jeb the shadow warrior and assassin the only being she CAN touch and not kill? Wow! You may think with this plot, To Kiss A Demon would be heavy but it is actually a hilarious paranormal romantic suspense by Stephanie Rowe! It’s in the Immortally Sexy series and even though this is the first of this series I read, I HAD to go back and read the rest.

Jed sold his immortal soul to S Jr, to save is brother from eternal torture and becomes an assassin for S Jr. While on a job he inadvertently runs into Paige, and they discover she can touch him. She convinces him to team up to find a cure for her and save his brother Rafi, and the hilarity commences. I loved the interaction between the big S and his devilishly arrogant son S Jr (who is just NAH-STY!!), the desperation of Jed to save his brother, and remain honorable, and the searing heat between Jed and Paige.

The pace and situational humor reminded me of the old-time comedies with Carey Grant and Kathryn Hepburn. Funny, suspenseful, sexy, and action packed all at the same time. I LOVED Jed! And I loved Paige! The two of them figure out so many things on the trail of the scientist and finding the 3rd gate and dodging demons, angels, and a seriously jacked up brother. When you read To Kiss A Demon, you get all of that and more!!! :) You’ll enjoy this great fun read!!!

This is the 4th book in the Immortally Sexy series and once again Stephanie hits the right balance of laugh out load moments and sexy dialogue with a unique take on the paranormal world , in this book we follow the antics of Paige a minion of Satan's who has recently freed herself only to find she is not as free as she first thought with a growing darkness within her, she meets Jed the sexy shadow warrior who is sent to assassinate her friend Becca and instantly feels he is the guy to take her virginity, throw in Satan Jr, People in Pink from Heaven , Jed's brother Rafi and her friends from the previous books and you have another roller coaster of a book that we have come to expect from the imagination and pen of Stephanie another brilliant read.

I read this series when it originally came out, but it’s been so long ago and so many books ago, it’s like reading them for the first time. I just love Paige as she’s so fun and engaging. Jed is a great fit for her, and together they are just so cute. I loved seeing the characters from the other books, even Satan and Satan Jr. This author is such a great writer, and her books always leave me smiling including this one. I can’t help but hope there will be more books in the series. You don’t need to have read the previous books in the series to read this one, and if you need a pick-me-up, definitely read this one. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Want a laugh out loud paranormal story with characters that are the best? Then you'll want to read this and the other Immortally books!! We've met Paige before and now she's got her story and oh what a story. She thinks she's free from Satan but then he tells her what he's done and he's trying to save his brother. When they end up meeting and joining forces each has their own end game but when they fall in love (shhh don't say that out loud) it changes everything...right? Be prepared to laugh throughout the book, the author has a way of giving her readers a story that has them laughing and cheering and booing and wanting more of everyone - good or bad. And oh boy can't wait for the next book!!

This book was hard for me to get into because this is not subject matter I normally read.  However, as with all books by Stephanie it was very entertaining.  I haven’t read the books in the series before this one, but I was still able to enjoy the book as she did an excellent job of fleshing out the characters from the first books of the series.  It was a fun read, that could have been a bit dark because of who the characters were but the author made it light and fun. Definitely recommend.

Jed is a shadow warrior and has a contract with Satan Jr. for his brother’s life. Instead he finds Paige in her bed. Satan has made a new kind of evil. Paige is a soul harvester but is in a little bit of trouble. When Paige accidentally kills an angel, she has a lot of people after her. Paige has an evil wraith inside her. Anything she touches dies, except Jed. If the wraith takes complete control, then she’ll be bad. Paige pays Jed to be her bodyguard, Satan Jr wants her to become a full wraith, and Satan wants her destroyed or she’s liable to destroy the world.

Excellent story with ups and downs. A virgin from hell meets a tortured assassin. Lots of action. A wild and bump ride. I really can’t figure out what I want to say. Satan and Junior crack me up. And sexual tension between Jed and Paige.

I love everything Stephanie Rowe writes but The Immortally Sexy series is where I first found her and her talent. I love paranormal and her ability to make the stories highly entertaining and laugh out loud funny make for great reading.

“…when she accidentally incinerates an angel…”. Seriously funny stuff! Paige has been so funny since she was first introduced. A child with the brains and body of an adult but the innocence of a toddler, she’s may be Satan’s but she’s got a heart of gold and sweetness about her. Jed is in the wrong place for all the right reasons. Love for his brother has him spending eternity as Satan Jr.’s minion. This mission to take out Paige isn’t going well. Can they find a way around their mutually horrendous fates?

The larger cast of characters has been a hoot since the first book introduced them. Mona, Theresa, Justine? They’re strong, independent women and they’re a blast and a half to watch. The men they are attracted to are equally kick butt (censoring myself here to save the big computers the trouble), sexy and the perfect partners to their women.

I can’t recommend this book, and the entire series, strongly enough if you at all like paranormal, suspense and humor. Rowe has masterfully wrapped all three genres into this entertaining book!

Thanks to the author and Valentine PR for the ARC.

This is a totally fun and engaging PNR/UF read with drama, mystery, danger, defined main characters as well as secondary characters from previous books. It has an irreverent depiction of Lucifer and his son that is humorous and over-the-top entertainment. I enjoyed this fun read. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Well I can't say enough how much I love this series of books by Stephanie Rowe. They are so much fun to read.

This one is about Paige Darlington who we met in the last book. She is the newly formed, bubbly, Rivka that managed to escape from her bondage to Satan. Unfortunately she soon discovers that she was used as a new secret weapon and she is destined to become Satan's ultimate killing machine. A wraith whose touch kills anything living and is destined to destroy the world. Being the bubbly, optimistic person that she is she soon discovers someone who does not die from her touch, Jed, a shadow warrior who is under contract to Satan Jr.

Paige hires Jed to be her bodyguard and protect her from her inner Wraith, while allowing her to touch him whenever she wants, since she craves human contact and kills anyone else that she touches.

As Jed & Paige work on trying to save her soul, as well as Jed's brother, and the world, we watch the relationship bloom.

As with all of Rowe's books in this series, it is fun to read about the adventures of old favorites as well as new characters.

I already know who the next book will be about and I can not wait!!!

I loved Jed and his brother Rafi( I can't wait for his story) and the whole shadow warrior thing. And Paige!! Her inner wraith and the battle for her soul!!! Jed and Paige are perfect for each other but they don't know just how perfect until they are willing to make sacrifices for one another. I loved ever page of this book!!

To Kiss a Demon

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4/5

I wasn’t expecting this book to make me GIGGLE! Omg yall it was so funny tho; Which is really the last thing I expected going into this paranormal romance!
I will say - you can read this as a stand-alone, as I did, but I feel as tho I would have enjoyed it a bit more if I’d read all the previous books in the series. WITH THAT BEING SAID. I absolutely adored this book!
♥️ I love Paige! She was so fun & relatable, her character was developed amazingly. AND JED. oh Jed 😍
Without giving too much away:
✨ Paige has quit her job working for satan and is finally free from him, until her touch turns lethal. Which is a bit of a problem for Paige, who craves connection & intimacy. Everything she touches that’s alive, dies. And when she accidentally kills an angel? Things get a bit hectic!
✨ Jed has a contract with Satan Jr for his brothers “life”. And the drama between Jed & his brother, Rafi, is so real, and so heart pulling.
✨ BUT LETS TALK ABOUT THE BIG SWOONY PUDDLE THIS BOOK TURNED ME INTO! *sigh*
✨ all in all, even if you haven’t read the other books in the series, I’d say give this one a try! I’m ready to dive into all the other books from this series now! This absolutely will NOT be my last Stephanie Rowe book!

To Kiss a Demon, is the 4th book in the Immortally Sexy Series. This book follows Jed and Paige. Jed is a shadow warrior (immortal assassin) and Paige formally worked for satan. When on Earth, Paige accidentally kills an Angel and discovers she is turning into an evil wraith. She discovers that every living thing she touches died. Jed has a brother he is trying to save, so he makes a deal with Satan Jr. One of his jobs was to kill Paige’s friend, and that leads to Jed being in Paige’s bed. While he is in her bed, Paige discovers she can touch him. So she asks him to be her bodyguard, both stopping her from hurting others and protecting her from turning completely into a wraith. They do this all while trying to find a way to save Jed’s brother.

This was a fun book. The plot was fast paced. I liked when Paige experienced new things and how blunt she was about everything. The relationship between Jed and Paige was definitely steamy. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a spicy but silly paranormal romance.

This book had a little bit of everything..... danger, action, romance, good, evil, death, healing and a whole lot of crazy quirkiness!

Recently created by Satan, Paige was nuts... feisty but sweet and innocent even as she was fighting the transformation into the most evil being alive. Jed was a tortured soul, a dark and dangerous shadow hunter, but immune to her killer touch. Together they took on hell and heaven (whose morals were not quite as expected) in a bid to save the world and themselves whilst fighting their very heated attraction.

I've not read any of the previous books in the series, it did take a few chapters to get acquainted to the world and it's crazy quirks, but there was enough detail and information for it to not matter. It was an enjoyable, fun read with some steamy hot chemistry and banter which although was light hearted, had a wonderful underlying message about the need for touch and family.  With the most eccentric Satan I've ever read and a host of characters that made me think "ooh what happened there" I do now want to go back and read the earlier books.

It made me smile and swoon.....just the ticket!

Well this book seemed to have it all, love laughs and some crazy demons. Took me a while to work out what was going on because I haven’t read the previous books in the series but once I got in to it I loved this book. Paige kills anyone she touches but not Jed who is damned so she enlists him to help her find a way to reverse what is happening to her. Along the way they are also trying to save his brother Rafi from the clutches of Satan jr.
it’s all fast paced and I loved the chemistry between Paige and Jed, it was so intense and just got stronger while they fought to become better people and survive.
I received an ARC from the author and leave my review voluntarily.

This is the first book I've read by this author. It started out with a bang, and did not stop. I loved the heroine. She always saw the good in things. I really liked the hero, too.. He has more complexity than you originally think. Also, the family dynamics of father and son were hilarious. I enjoyed every bit of this book, and I am looking forward to exploring this author's backlist.

This story has some twists and turns in it but it will keep you reading ! Well written and recommended .

What happens when you cross a Shadow Warrior, a new bred of Rivka, and a long-standing family feud? You get a nonstop, kick-ass story of love and redemption. Paige and Jed are two evil people who aren't capable of love, or so they think. But they are willing to face Satan (and Satan Jr. and a whole host of angels!) and sacrifice themselves in order to prevent utter chaos. And in the process, they discover that maybe they aren't as evil and as incapable of love as they believed.

After having read all of the books in this series, I was dying for the next installment. And it definitely did not disappoint!

This book is a fast paced, funny read that reminded me of some of the best Rom-Coms. I haven’t read the previous books and paranormal romance is not my usual type of read but I couldn’t put this one down! After the first few pages I was hooked! I really wanted to know how Paige and Jed were going to pull it off so they could get their HEA even though Jed didn’t believe he deserved one and Paige didn’t think she would survive to get one. The twists and turns kept me coming back for more. I loved that even though both Paige and Jed were flawed and tied to the underworld they had human qualities that kept popping up in the least expected way. If your looking for something fun to read that keeps you on your toes and laughing out loud then this is definitely a must read! I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

Sex & the Immortal Bad Boy is the final book in the Immortally Sexy series. While not my favorite of the series, I thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, I have enjoyed all the books in this series and wish it would've continued.

Paige Darlington, the former apprentice to Satan's right hand and most-favorite Rivka, Becka Gibbs, is having a major problem ... she is killing people with her touch. She doesn't mind killing those that deserve it, but she's not happy about this new change in her abilities.

One night, she meets Jed Buchanan, who works for Satan, Jr. She quickly realizes she cannot kill him with her touch, so she hires his hotness to guard her from herself and .... touch her. LOL! He agrees to help her try to solve her problem because he came there to kill her, in order to protect his brother. As you'd expect, things don't end up how either of them planned.

This HEA was cute and sexy, as are all throughout this series. The books are light, funny and quick reads. Satan is hilarious! He's one of the funniest characters I've read. All of the characters add to this colorful, entertaining series. If you're in the mood for something funny, light, but sexy, read this series!

A brand new, out of the wrapper Rivka, Paige is ...well, not very evil. She'd rather be on a girl's day out with her Besties but suddenly the merest touch against anyone with good within them and she's turning them into crispy critters!

Jed should be embracing life as the kick-butt assassin he was but all he really wants to do is free his brother from becoming a lackey like him. His next assignment should be a doddle, the female is only weeks old after all. Yeah, that was until he met her and realises that in killing Paige, he might damn himself all over again!

Paige is most definitely in the wrong employment! She's like sweetness and rainbows personified - except for the slight tendency to kill things LOL. Jed is by turns a hero and anti-hero but he does eventually embrace the fact that he's not all evil himself.

Switch off reality and immerse yourself in PNR/SciFi/RomCom with a big ol' dollop of smexiness. Enjoy the family feud of Satan and Satan jnr and laugh yourself silly.
