This self-study workbook is a hands-on introduction to geographic information system (GIS) software using the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo. A GIS is a computer-based system for collecting, storing, managing, analyzing, and presenting geographic information.
