This is definitely simplified anatomy/physiology, however it is thorough and useful for health studies. I don't know if the tiny cartoons throughout are necessary, but they are good for laughing at, and I do love to laugh.

This is a great book for a comprehensive overview of Anatomy & Physiology of the human body. It's not super in depth but gives a great understanding of systems and functions of the body.

Very accessible text book. Very corny sense of humor--better to leave that out.
