This is ultimately a memoir of coalition building. It really is a striking indictment of both the HRC wing of gay organizing and the Religious Right.

I don't agree with a lot here, but the ideas are interesting that I'll revisit this cast of characters again for thesis work.

So sad that 13yrs after this book was released, the biggest obstacle and enemy to the gay community is .... the gay community. And not much has changed in terms of acceptance for gay men who are members of the Republican party.
