When Natalie awakens on a spaceship manned by three gorgeous and adoring hunks, she’s convinced she’s dreaming. It’s up to Andros, Leikos and Zafron to prove to her she’s not. And that she’s the perfect mate for all three of them.
Spygian alpha males travel far and wide in search of their perfect partner. And then share their mate in the most delicious, pleasurable ways they can imagine. But for Natalie, loving these red-hot aliens means leaving Earth. Is she willing to take a chance on a love that’s out of this world?

Ria Candro is the author of futuristic and paranormal erotic romance. When not dreaming up hot love stories, she enjoys spending time with her family in their home state of Florida.
MATED is an interesting story with an intriguing premise that I enjoyed reading. Natalie is an everyday woman who is dissatisfied with her life and her career progression. She arrives home to find two men in her apartment who inform her that she's their mate. They take her back to their ship, so of course when Natalie awakens in a room alone, and the bedroom looks exactly like her own, she believes that she dreamed the whole thing. But she hasn't. Everything is real, including the three men intent on claiming her and wanting her to leave Earth and become a part of their world as well as the men's enemies who are trying to hunt them down.
Okay, are you satisfied with my sucky plot review? I'm trying, but you know I totally suck at giving plot reviews. So let me tell you what I liked and didn't like.
Overall, I really liked MATED as a story and I'm on a sci-fi kick now too. I've liked the sci-fi stories that I've been reading. MATED isn't an exception. Although it's a quick, simple, steamy read, it captured me and I liked how she set up the world. Although this is a ménage relationship, because of the men's culture and their planets history, I totally bought into their relationship and I believed in it.
There were a few things that I wish were fleshed out. For one, I didn't get in the beginning why Natalie didn't go to college. She was griping that she didn't get a promotion because she didn't have a degree and that the reason she didn't have a degree is because her parents died and so they couldn't pay for college? Umm, WTF? Hello, ma'am, this is the 21st century here, do what everyone else does, go to college part-time, or go to college on-line. I totally didn't get that reasoning, and I rolled my eyes when reading that in the beginning. But maybe that's me because everyone in my family who went to college paid for it themselves. (BTW, does anyone want to pay back my student loans, they're killing a sister – note of advice from Aunty Lynette, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GO TO A PRIVATE WOMEN'S COLLEGE – NEVER, THE EXPENSE IS NOT WORTH IT).
Anyhoo, back to my review.
I also wish that Ms. Candro went a little deeper into the world building. She has a great set-up, intriguing premise, solid writing, but I wanted to know more about the world that the men come from. I also didn't understand how the men knew Natalie was their mate? It infers that theirs a way for them to just know, but it wasn't explained.
Besides that, this was a solid sci-fi read and I'd definitely check out her next release.
Fun erotic alien romp with men who need women and it is in their culture to share one woman. The heroine is likable but we don't get a really good physical sense of her. While we understand that she doesn't have a job or family holding her to Earth, it is less clear about the lack of friends. Her character could have been a bit more developed in places.
The heros are also likable but again they could have been more individuated. We gets hints of their various personalities but that is really it.
The world building needed development. I would loved to see another set of chapters on the home planet.
None the less, the sexy times were very hot and there is tons of troupes here to like--alien abduction, low woman man ratio, poly love, mating heating and so on to make this an enjoyable read. I will pick up the rest of the series when I am craving this kind of bon bon.
Natalie is a little irritating as the fmc but at the same time she is alright. The book was really good, once I got started on the book I didn’t want to put it down, just wished it went a little more into them actually landing on the planet with their lives on the planet surface a little also.

I felt like reading another futuristic setting & I haven’t read an erotic novel in a while so I thought I would pick this one for a quick read and break up some of the longer novels I have been reading….It started off fine but it definitely reminded me why I don’t enjoy erotica…There’s just too much sexual repetition after the initial coupling! Meh! There is a storyline which isn’t too bad…Natalie has been taken from earth by three aliens who think she is their destined mate & now they have to work very hard to convince her! A Ménage à trois read with some alien loving! Good as a quickie & would try to read the rest of the books in trilogy just to find out more about the Spygian planet & its fate.
Like reading the script of a porn movie. The guys - in this case- got the girl way too easily. A lot of good and hot scenes, it also has a good portion of action as well. But I don't know. Also what's about the female alien population always extinct or diminished or something of the style.!!!? This planet has the policy of one mate for three guys, sharing sex, love and strenght. So they come to earth kidnapp the woman that was supposed to be theirs, and got her to their ship, tell her everything what they are expecting from her, and awaits for her to accept and take the offer. I said is like reading a porn script because everything flows as the guys expected, not so much fun of that way. The hot scenes were great, but the part of the ritual room, the fact that there was a " ritual room " was one I didn't like so much.
Lots of sex with same group of men who stole her from her planet - no talk of love until very very end -confusing storyline with different planets along with strange aliens and I found the book boring and hard to finish.
I read it all as I saw this was a new author and wanted to give a correct rating on it.
A very good book. Natalie was able to have her cake and eat it too!!! She was just a everyday kind of girl trying to make a life for herself before fate steps in and changes it. She got not one but three hot guys to call hers. I never thought have more than one guy in my bed could be so hot!!!
