This was the first bass guitar book I owned. I bought it along with a Korean made Squier Precision Bass and a Peavey Minx amp in 1987. All three are gone but I still remember the book fondly. It taught me everything I needed to know about the mechanics of playing bass to get started. That, plus my ear and my other musical training, have given me a lifelong avocation and side career playing with great musicians all around DC and Virginia. I loved this book and would dearly love to find another copy.
