hiding in russia was not part of the plan, i heard. i thought the plan was to go on a cruise in alaska. so on the way there, they get lost, because of a navigation problem. when they finally get back to the states, the air lines say, we're so sorry, but maybe this will help you. we have free tickets for a cruise in alska. amazing. things are turning around in circles. especially when on the plane, they hear there is a navigation problem. that sets them off quickly. don't read this unless you like suspense. i'm srious about this-not kidding. and don't read this until you have read the first one.

I enjoyed this second book in the series more than I did the first one. The plane the family is on crashes someplace. They think they might be in Russia, but don't know. They are rescued/captured by some people who still live as they did hundreds of years ago. After many harrowing experiences, the family does finally escape, but they learn a lot about the Lost Tribes of Israel while they are with them and leave behind some good friends.

While the content was interesting, I found that the entire premise was rather implausible, to the point that it reduced the enjoyability of it. I have to admit that I still didn't feel that the integration of doctrine etc. didn't fee forced persay, but the story felt somewhat predictible, and a bit over the top.

The plot is a bit more wild than the first book. But not any crazier than a lot of what I read. This book aims to teach you about the Bible Dictionary. Does so in a fairly fun way. The adventure starts way faster than the first book so I like that too.

It was a cute book. The writing was a little juvenile. I liked the story but the writing lacked emotion.

A bit cheesy and definitely not fine literature, this book was fun to read. This is actually the 2nd book in the series, but it wasn't necessary to read the first book to understand this one.
