So pleased I found & bought this book - I found it really interesting, informative and really emotional at the same time.

We holiday in Mousehole, literally a few minutes away from the Penlee Lifeboat station where the 8 lifeboat crew set off - its a really emotive building with a real atmosphere around it when you stop to remember and pay your respects. W walk past it several times a day and you always remember these gentlemen.

So to read how the tragedy unfolded from start to finish, just brought it home even more.

A great book which shared the tragedy as it unfolded; just factual and really made you remember the people who died. So pleased to have read it; it will make me think of the details when I next walk past the old lifeboat station,
