"The BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider Manual" is an absolutely important read. This book was wonderful at educating me on how to perform CPR and how to handle other serious situations. Without this book, I would have not received my BLS certification.

My primary complaint is the lack of practice tests. Also AHA could publish the rationale for the changes
