Hunting is what I do. Since they hunted us, killed my brothers, I spend my time hunting those that still seek us. Now they have left me a protection detail, keeping me bound to the castle. She wants to run from me and I want her to run. I want her to run so I can catch her and claim everything she is.
Valdís
He lurks around every corner. Always goading. Taunting. Tempting me. Pushing me to run.
I want to run, the question is will I run away... or to him?
Rhiannon writes magical smut novels. She is an avid reader of many authors in a variety of genre though she tends more toward paranormal romance.
She has three former pound puppies that she dotes on and three daughters that she adores.
Rhiannon has lived in multiple states, though she is currently living in North Carolina. Wandering, witching, and reading with her puppies and husband are what she does when she isn't writing.
3.5⭐️ I think the writing or plot of these are improving with each one, however I'm reading them in succession (after the first book wasnt very good but I was entertained enough to continue) so I may just be used to the writing skill as I'm entertained by the developing plot. It's still not amazingly written, but I'd say this was decent. My main issue with this series is that I feel like meeting each mate is being dragged out, evidently the author wanted one new mate per book (which does help me remember each mate) however I kinda feel like by this point we should have met them all by now.
This book was a flop compared with the others For the people that loved the spicy of the other 2 books, you ain´t gonna find it in this one. A repetitive way of meeting Chance, with lots of short POVs that sometimes don´t add something relevant to the history. The only thing is that the narrative about Valdís is really good.
I’m done with this series. I went into it believing it would be more romance heavy but at this point it’s almost nonexistent. That’s okay, it’s just not what I wanted from it. I skim read almost the entirety of this. Just not my cup of tea anymore.
The action becomes much more intense, with plots and turns. it's interesting to see the main character evolve, becoming self-conscious and confident in his power. I read it really fast.
