A fairly enjoyable oldie where the stronger and more outgoing twin rushes into danger to find what her gentle sister is caught up in and runs into the hero, her sister's boss and the man her sis is secretly besotted with. Soon hero/heroine are off finding love and danger while the heroine despite falling in love still wants to protect her sister's feelings. This one was decent though I was annoyed a bit by the heroine wanting to give up her chance at happiness for her sister's one-sided infatuation.

"Fools Rush In" is the story of Erin and Max.

Pretty fun read!

The heroine receives a mysterious phone call from her twin before she disappears. She then goes to find her sister, and comes across her sister's boss (who her sister has a crush on). He on the other hand is immediately able to differentiate between the two. What starts with deception soon becomes a thrilling romance as they go on a search while fighting for their life and copulating vigorously. Some drama towards end before a HEA.

Enjoyed it.

This book had to be a favorite when written! It’s still amazing and only a little dated.
It’s fast paced, sexy and loving! A perfect vintage romance read!

This was a quick and enjoyable read. Gray wrote it as a romantic suspense and yet the focus was definitely the romance. However, the suspense was a constant, underlying tension as Erin and Max grew closer and closer. I also found it interesting that, even though it was written in 3rd person, it was all Erin's POV. I'm used to most romances bouncing between the two main characters to give you internal thoughts for both of them but I thought Gray did a good job of showing Max's thoughts and feelings through his body language, speech, and actions while giving us open access to Erin's thoughts and feelings. It was very well balanced and enjoyable to read. She also showed the relationship between the sisters well, even though Elise's actual presence was minimal. I appreciated the connection between them but also the rivalry, guilt, envy, etc. . . . in other words, she showed both the positive and negative emotions that exist between siblings even though they are all underscored with love.
