Billy is supposed to be getting ready for nursery school, but he uses Rabbit (his stuffy) as an excuse to delay. After several things cause them to be very late, Mother hurries to work. At nursery school Billy can’t find Rabbit and his mom forgot to say “I love you” before leaving him there.
Great ending for this sweet story, and adorable illustrations.

So glad that even the best mum can feel hassled when everything goes wrong. I've felt like mummy bear many times, must be normal then!

What a lovely tale about busy mom who always has time to say I love you. Every time I read this story, it reminds me of my little boy.
