Feral Riders Book One Paranormal Shifter Gay (MM) Romance
Leo Morgan is a werewolf on the prowl and there is only one man who can slake his burning desires. Jackson may be an unsuspecting human, but this wolf gets more than he bargained for when a night of seduction goes wrong... and oh-so-right.
Erotic Romance intended for Adults Only. Must be 18 years or older to read.
Boring story. The kind I think I've read 100 times in both m/m and m/f. The love comes out of nowhere, and the characters are as interesting as plain mush. It's short, but that's about all I can say in it's favor.
Do not set your expectations too high and you will not be disappointed in this very short (and quite expensive) M/M shifter story which is entirely too predictable and would need some serious fleshing out, beside a good editing to take care of the many, annoying typos.
Absolutely fantastic read for those like me who love to feed and stimulate their sexually enhanced brain. I fell in love with the characters right away mainly because it involved rogued lycanthropes. You know the kind, the wild Wolves who don’t follow the rules, don’t mate, and just run wild, eat, fu@k, and run, eat, and fu@k.
This is an Male – Male read and the beasty wolf comes out of Leo when he finds his attraction towards the human Jackson a little more than just a casual rump in the sack. The Wolf beast takes over and claims Jackson as his own. The sex scenes are excellent and intense. The story’s plot was short but to the point of Leo slaking his need to have Jackson with a little help from his other rogue wolf friends.
This was a cute story, but it left a few gaps. And it does need a good editing. As far at the story line goes, I enjoyed it. With a little fleshing out, it would have been great. I plan to read the next book in the series, because I think this author has potential. Once Brookes learns to fill in the gaps (a line or two to explain why Jackson return to Leo would have been good), the stories will be excellent. Good start to a series.
My low rating is not because of the taboo. It's because of the many, many grammatical errors, missing words and extra words. This needs a serious edit job.
So in my reading I have not read a lot of m/m erotica; very little in fact. I like to broaden my horizons, and so when asked if I’d like to review this book, I said yep! It was not a very long story, but it was very well written!
Leo is a feral wolf, almost gypsy like in nature as he travels with some of his wolfy friends. They do what they want, when they want, and with whom they want. Sometimes its women, but for Leo, more often than not it is men. And now one man has caught his eye – Jackson.
Jackson is human, and Leo thinks there is a chance that he might be homosexual, or in the very least – bisexual. He’s just noticed the way Jackson looks at him, the way his heart rate increases…he knows there is a mutual attraction there.
So one night Leo orchestrates an entire scheme to get Jackson alone. And it works.
I really thought Leo was such a fascinating character. He was unapologetic for his nature, he is what he is and he is happy with himself. He is an alpha wolf without a pack. He’s got his buddies, but they are like him. There is no one in charge, they’re just friends. And the way they help him get to Jackson, well, I’d give them all high fives cause it was pretty ingenious.
This story definitely is not for everyone. It is very explicit in some areas. But if m/m erotica is your thing, I definitely say read this story. The intimate scenes were intense and passionate. Even if regular erotica is your thing, you might like this story. The writing flows well and there is no mistaking the passion within. In a word, fantastic!
...if you're looking to burn some time this story's for you. I'm very skeptical of a relationship that begins with a stalking. Then the dog-and-pony show to herd this unsuspecting man into the empty cabin seem just plain silly. It may not have been rape but what Leo did to Jackson was close enough. I'm going to stop there so I don't spoil it for the next reader. This has potential so I'll read another in the series to see if the stories progress from childhood shenanigans to adult situations.
Leo is a feral shifter. No pack allegiance. No politics. Just riding...umh...seducing his way across the country with other ferals. Leo has a knack for seducing straight men and his next target is Jackson.
This is pretty straight forward. Leo works to seduce a reluctant Jackson who turns him down...initially. A secret are revealed and even though Leo doesn’t believe in mates his wolf does. Lots of smexin' goes on with a hint of a series to come.

I liked this story because m/m werewolves just do it for me. My one big complaint is that the author painted Leo as this badass who was a real asshole and then he ended up being all lovey dovey in the end. It just seemed really out of character and threw me off. But it was a good story and the sex scenes were great.
The story premise is good, but the editing is terrible. Cliche, but different in wandering wolf shifters. I will probably give the others in this Riders series a chance.
