Excellent book on prayer from the sixties... but, oh so relevant and necessary for today. We have forgotten how to pray. Rosalind Rinker made it very easy to learn intimacy and quietness in prayer. Examines our motives and makes prayer something very accessible and helps to renew our prayer life in prayer for others and prayer for our own issues. She also explores prayer in a prayer group, how to overcome our anxieties and intimidation in prayer and thankfulness as a necessary component of our prayer for others. Highly recommend for anyone interested in an effective prayer life.
This was the first book I ever read about Conversational Prayer. It was EYE-OPENING for me to realize that people actually prayed in this way!! It sparked my interest into reading other similar books and ended up being life-changing for me!!!
