Ok, apparently I don’t have the “resources” ($$$) necessary to be a super hero…. So I was thinking maybe if somebody needs a side kick… well I’m available… I require little food (my basic diet is chocolate and tofu), and I'm a great cleaner… I know lot of useless stuff (my Lil sis likes to call me the encyclopedia of the useless), I almost don’t sleep, I know how to fix a lot of stuff (when they don’t call me The Takonator at my job they call me Mcgiver), I have contingency plans for almost any natural (and unnatural) catastrophes that you can imagine (ask for my “holy shit there is a zombie outbreak” contingency plan), I’ve seen almost every action movie ever made so I like to think that I can defend myself, I’m really good with maps, puzzles, and all the useless crap that a side kick needs to know!!! So if you a super hero… your long search for the perfect side kick is over! I’m here just send me a message and we can discuss when I start!

Duh baru inget ama buku punya si Tomo ini. jadi kudu buru2 dikelarin biar biasa di balikin pas IRF ntar *kalo dateng*
Kenapa kudu pas IRF? yah dulu pan ngincerna pas IRF taon kmaren waktu si Tomo ikutan pamer(an) di IRF buka booth "all about batman" kolaborasi dengan si Ronny.

1. Ribet
2. Capek
3. Mahal

segitu aja repiunya sih
............

Umm, tambah dikit lagi deh

batsuit

ntu buat satu kostum doang

trus kudu majang peralatan kek gene di kantor polisi

lamp

lamp2

Hmm.. mirip Iron Man lah gt. jutawan pinter kek gt lah. bedanya batman mungkin lebih low profil dibanding Iron Man

heroes

sangat menghibur bukunya buat gw lah. tengkiyu buat sesepuh jaduler yang udah minjemin buku nyaaah

war

sekian

Never have I felt so changed after reading a book before. After reading this book I immediately took to the streets to start my new life as a crime fighting vigilante. I was incredibly successful in my new life. I recently suffered a blow breaking my back in half, but thanks to my new training I am getting back on my feet. Disarming a gunman? No problem! Getting the batmobile on two wheels? That’s just a Tuesday! I highly recommend this book it might set you on a path to being the hero the city needs but not the one it deserves.

Fun and informative look into the caped crusader's vigilante activities and how you can hone your body to perform similar feats of acrobatics and wit.

The Batman Handbook is an amazingly detailed, surprisingly thoughtful book on the basics of what you would need to do to become your own caped crime fighter. It covers setting up your hideout, martial arts, escaping from being tied up, and how to throw a batarang, among other things. Unfortunately, it's vague on how to get clandestine corporate backing like Bruce Wayne has.

This was a highly entertaining book, and I learned a couple of things from it too. I'm also a huge Batman nerd, so most people probably wouldn't find this as cool as I do...

The official manual to becoming the Batman! True, nobody can be Batman. But, if you ever wanted to follow in his footsteps, then Scott Beatty has crafted a handbook for you. Taking instruction from experts in law enforcement, criminology, first aid, self defense, psychology and weaponry, Beatty utilizes the Dark Knight's casebook to advise up-and-coming vigilantes and superheroes on how to defend and protect themselves from nearly any situation one might face in Gotham City. There's even some tips from magicians and escape artists on how to free yourself from the various traps employed by Batman's rogues gallery.

Need to know how to build up your superhero arsenal of vehicles and gadgets? Clueless on how to conduct your own investigations? Don't worry! Scott Beatty's got you covered! In my opinion, those sections are Scott Beatty's most well researched and written articles. When Beatty tries to explain situations such as how to safely fall off a building or how to repel up that same building, he gets caught up in the technical aspects and I find myself getting lost. Let's face it: no matter how many illustrations one might add as figure examples, trying to get your bearings through instructions on how to be perpendicular with the ground while keeping your arms in a diagonal bend is just too complicated to follow. A series of supplemental YouTube videos would have been greatly appreciated.

The artwork for the handbook is very clean. It has that classic style of Batman: The Animated Series. I like almost all of it. Except for the ears. I don't know why. But David Hahn's ability to draw ears just seems so odd looking. Big cases in point are the auricles of techno villain Gearhead as well as those of Commissioner Jim Gordon. One might think that I'm being petty or nitpicky about this. But the insides of human ears just don't look like that!

A neat concept by Quirk Books. Great use of actual Batman comics and other media. Though I would have liked if this book had stayed either all comics or all movies. Both really muddies the lines of what is canon and what is not. A must for fans of the Batman family. Only just because there is some actual life saving information comprised inside this book, by no means use this to become an actual superhero!

One of the huge temptations in life is the Friends of the Library bookstore. A severe lack of shelf space and more importantly, money, has forced me to curb my old buying habits. So I get only the rare gem, maybe one book every couple of months. One of those gems is The Batman Handbook by Scott Beatty.

The book is printed in blue, gray, black and yellow and stands out from the average book. It really is what it says, a handbook for anyone who wants to be Batman. There are sections on equipment, vehicles, suits, fighting techniques and so forth.

Along with the instructions are lots and lots of illustrations. It has the look of a graphic novel or graphic memoir but it's something else. It's a parody, a discussion of the DC Canon, insights into Batman's personality and the different Robins he's worked with.

The book was a delightful read and something that my husband, son and I all enjoyed. I'm sure we'll be re-reading it.

Mungkin saja lho...

Okay, so this is was given to me as a joke. I regret to say tat even after three years I am still on step two to becoming batman, "Learn everything you can in every discipline, no mater how obscure." I may be here for quite sometime. Though I think the prospect of making a batsuit this summer could prove interesting.

All of the tips contained withing are written with a serious face, how to rappel down windows, see int he dark, etc. However, it's the cute tongue in cheek Batman references that really show off the humor: How to survive being frozen, how to conquer phobias, etc. Altogether a fun quick read.

its pretty freakin awesome. you can learn how to use his belt, avoid the deadly kiss of poison ivy, avoid whips from catwoman, be invisible, and do some pretty sweet superhero moves. i like the design of the book and how i can never do any of these things.

This is just necessary reading for those of us who are "The Batman." and to the great citizens of Goodreads, just know you can sleep better at night knowing we're out there making it safer. Why are you looking at me like that...I'm not crazy, I'm a hero sometimes.

Entertaining enough to finish, but not a very funny or informative book. Some sections, such as the one training you on which fire extinguisher to use on electrical vs gasoline, feel much more like filler than Batman training.

A little dry in some areas -- as most "instructional" books can be -- it was a good read. Even if you don't become a costumed vigilante, this book still contains interesting info that can assist you in your everyday life.

If Batman created this book it was to mislead others so that none could take his crown as "THE BAT". Humerous, fun, and great for the comic book nerd in us all I reccomend it only to those die hard fans of Batman. Otherwise you'll be left a little perplexed as to why anyone would want this.

I've used this to teach How-To Writing. The students love it. Especially the boys. It has also provoked some very creative how-to pieces: like how to drug batman.
