This book Batman is 'alone' in his super heroes duty. The Joker escaped the asylum for his birthday and runs the city amuck.... as always Batman is there to save the day. This is a chapter book so a little longer read than a short story so for a beginner reader they may have to read in several times to finish. but it was a nice book.

This is a good book for beginning readers who are fans of Batman. Our youngest picked this one out at the library and although it's not her typical pick, she really liked the story. She's watched Batman cartoons with Daddy, so she was familiar with the characters.
