Piers Bizony is a science journalist and space historian who writes for magazines such as Focus and Wired as well as the Independent. His award-winning book on Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey was described as 'full of sparkling enthusiasm' by the New Scientist and 'excellent, in every way worthy of Kubrick's original precision-crafted vision' by the Evening Standard.
A great book for somebody who is interested in the broad reaches of science and wants a small sample of what each relevant chapter of science has to offer. From evolution to the subatomic world, this book has something for everybody. The illustrations are also very well done and captivating.
I think this book is awesome. Piers Bizony did a wonderful job on writing this book it brings you a whole new understanding to these sciences and it teaches you all the main aspects of the book and leaves out some of the less important prospects about them out. All in all I think Piers did a wonderful job writing this book as it is a second reference on learning those sciences.
