Rate this book
Nancy Bonnelly killed her friends. She was driving the car when it wrecked, and she talked them into driving through the cursed canyon. Now two of them are dead, another is missing, and Nancy is injured and near death herself.
She is all alone until Dorian Renault finds her, takes her to a cave and nurses her back to health.
But what kind of man has the power to bring the almost dead back to life?
A vampire.
And Dorian isn’t any vampire. He’s a vampire fighting a monster of his own, one that lives inside him. He’d given up hope of winning the battle and was ready to die, until he meets Nancy.
Now Dorian has hope: hope that with Nancy by his side he doesn’t have to be a monster after all.
However, unknown to Dorian and Nancy, there are other monsters in the canyon. Monsters who know more about Nancy and her accident than Nancy herself.
Bonus: Lost, 1st in the Lost series, included in its entirety. Plus, sample from When Gargoyles Fly.

Found is book two in the Lost novella series by Lori Devoti. Both books one and two are usually bought as a bundle. I do think I liked Found even better than Lost.

Nancy Bonnelly was driving the car that fateful night of the crash in the canyon. It was all her fault. Two of their sorority sisters that were in the car are dead. Rachel seemed ok and has gone for help. Nancy is badly injured and scared. The trip into the canyon was a dare. Some frat boys they met at a party dared them and said they didn’t have what it takes to drive through the cursed canyon at night. So Nancy had bet one of them that they could do it. This is all her fault.

Dorian and his brother, Cameron are vampires. Cameron has always been the “good” brother.

“Dorian was lost. The monster inside him had won.”

Dorian feels like the battle against the evil inside him is over. There is only one solution to this problem. Death.

“He needed his big brother to find him…to kill him.”

Dorian comes upon the wrecked car and finds Nancy. He smells the blood. But there is another danger here and it’s something other than himself. Something is trying to drag Nancy away. So he saves her. But perhaps it is Nancy who saves Dorian. There is something about her that forces him to protect her. Something about her that makes him feel again. Something about her that returns his humanity to him.

Nancy is so badly injured, barely holding on. So Dorian hides her and helps her to heal. But now Cameron is hunting him and trying to kill him. How can he convince Cameron he has changed? How can he convince Cameron that there is another danger lurking in the canyon?

I really liked this one. I am getting to know the brothers better and understand better what happened. It is a very quick read, perfect for a break between books. I can’t wait to see what is going to happen next.

(2.5 stars pretty good, though quite short) This edition had both Found and it's predecessor Lost (which follows Found in the bundle, though it helps to read it first) both of these are light quick vampire 'romances' though the story for the couple in Lost only offers the promise of romance and leaves things open-ended. I wish that this had been one longer story, a little more fleshed out, and had both HEAs.

I love this series! I'm now reading the next book *Claimed* In this book we find out Cameron's brother Dorian is not as bad as their father. That much like his self, His brother is capable of even falling in love I don't like to write spoilers. Just know, if you like a great Vampire Romance this is a good one so far :) Check it out & Happy Reading! :)

Great short story to follow up with the first one. I think this one was better than the first, which also happens to be included in this set.

Same as the review on the first of this set, "Lost." I think on my 1 year anniversary of reading Lost and Found I will read them both again!

This is the second half of the first two books in the Lost series.
It is brilliant with complicated characters that you realise are just flawed.

Glad to report this doesn't have the same kind of ending as part 1! And while it's not the end of the story, I'm happy to leave it here. part 3 seems to be about Cameron returning to Rachel and seeing if she'll join him. I'm going to save myself any issues, assume yes and that they all lived happily ever after. I don't think part 3 will be answering the questions I have about this world so it's better to not even hope. Things like what are the vampire rules? What are the laws of the supernatural? Are they at war? Are they friends? What's with the instalove? Is it some kind of soulmate/life partner thing? etc

I liked Dorian. He was a damaged soul and Nancy unknowingly saved him. But then he saved her and hopefully they won't get in trouble for being in love. Sometimes people just need someone to be there and believe in them and they can sort themselves out. I don't know if that's what Dorian needed, but he'll get that now and that's the important thing.

The story was good, I liked how it was written and the progression of the situations. However this is not one of those novellas that has lots of information in them which I'm finding out more and more that I prefer. This part also contains more violence than the first and a pretty sexy kiss! but that's it for 'explicit' content.

The book itself is good and has a good story line. However, it is very short and leaves the reader hanging. There is no conclusion. These both could be really good books if the story was continued.
