This is a nice art book that is a compilation of the paintings for some Batman trading cards. What makes the book work is that the art ties into the story. It's a neat mixture that I certainly enjoyed. There were parts of the story and dialogue that were cringy but besides that, this was a solid book.
Really nice art book that is a compilation of the paintings from a trading card series. What makes it unique is that the art all ties together into a story, which is something different for a book of this kind. You get a neat little mystery mixed in while you flip through and enjoy each piece. A solid choice to own if you're looking for Batman art.
This book is a collected and reprinted series of comic cards that together slowly reveal a mystery story about Batman. The artwork is by a series of artists, each including comments on their work with each painting. It is a really neat piece of storytelling with beautiful illustrations.
Has some neat pics of the paintings that were used on DC trading cards. Most are pretty good paintings and it has some sketches and some words on why the artist painted what he painted.
