Northrop Frye discusses with David Cayley his life as a teacher and scholar, focusing on the university as "the engine room of society." This fascinating book concludes with Frye's thoughts on religion and his writings on the Bible.
A good talk, as usual with Cayley, this time with a very brilliant Literary critic. Frye's book on the Literary Imagination was really good and from what I've read of 'The Great Code', it's a fine supplement to other readings of 'The Greatest Story Ever Told'.
