Just when you think Jenna Gunn can’t possibly out-do her previous suspenseful and smoldering books, she pulls it off again! The intensity of her writing gets better with each new book. Off-Limits Protector, the third book in the Agile Search and Rescue series starts off with a Bang (pun intended) right from the start. Because of the exciting but dangerous action that erupts in the very beginning, the readers only have to read about 10 percent of the book to get to the smoking hot scenes. Passion, fueled by near-death experiences, heightens the love scenes to a whole new level.
We are immediately drawn into the emotion and chemistry between Andre and Willow. It's so well-written, you end up devouring it because how in the world could anyone expect you to be able to put it down? I had to force myself to try to read slowly so that I could savor the feelings.
The book is loaded with mystery, suspense, and unexpected plot twists. Dark secrets are revealed, and emotions are as erratic as a high tech roller coaster. This is definitely a book that hits all the checks for feelings. It also includes references to characters in the previous books of the Agile series. Although it’s not necessary to read the previous books, you owe it to yourself to indulge!

I was lucky enough to discover this author through another author's email when she asked if anyone was interested in reading an ARC of her friends new book coming out. I jumped after I read the blurb and couldn't wait to get the book. While this is book 3 in the Agile Security & Rescue Series I didn't feel lost while reading even though I haven't read the other two. As I said I've never read any books by Jenna Gunn but after reading Off-Limits Protector I plan on changing that quick.
This book definitely started out with a literal bang when Former Marine Corps Sniper Andre Navarro and Dr. Willow Barnhill happened to witness a drug related accident/hit by Jake Marvineto the vicious drug lord while sitting in their vehicles at an intersection. Andre knows anyone who witnessed what happened will be murdered so he grabs the petrified woman in the vehicle next to him and pulls her into his truck and takes off. This story follows that rescue and just how far he's willing to go to protect her. While they were pushed together due to wrong place wrong time they soon realized they were drawn to each other by raw sexual desires and off the charts chemistry. Neither has ever felt such a pull but Andre feels he doesn't deserve her because of what happened in his past. During their time on the run she reveals how her absentee wealthy father lead to an unhappy, lonely childhood which drove her to leave at eighteen. Which pushed her to become a doctor so she could help people despite her father. Can he and his buddies at Agile Security and Rescue eliminate the threat or will they get help from an unlikely source?
Their story has action packed suspense, danger and intrigue with twists and turns along with a budding passionate romance. The secondary characters were funny, intelligent, intense, personable and contributed to the flow of the storyline.

I love Andre and Willow!
Their chemistry is amazing!!! And boy, do things get H-O-T!
The whole plot is super well thought and the suspense keeps us glued to the pages as the action-packed story takes us on a journey we can't wait to follow.

This book delivers an experience worth going through.
The characters, the plot, the chemistry, everything is just WOW.
The hot scenes are just that, HOT and had me fanning myself.
The action and suspenseful scenes had me biting my nails and hanging on for dear life.
Movie worth it.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

Wasn’t feeling their chemistry, especially from H’s side, felt like h cared more about him than he did with her. He didn’t do nothing or didn’t defend her when he knew her dad was an asshole to her throughout her life. He was emotionless, the only way he showed some kind of emotion was during their animalistic sex, while it was hot it wasn’t sweet or tender, even after the sex H was all business. I didn’t see his love/care for her, all he did was push her away

This book tells the story of Andre Navarro and Willow Barnhill and is book 3 is the Agile Security and Rescue Series by Jenna Gunn.
Tho this book is part of a series and the characters are interconnected, it can be read as a standalone.
In the previous book of this series, we had some glimpses at Andre as part of the Agile team. He even gave Scotch a hard time. But in this book, he get to really know the man - his depths, what makes him what he is, what makes him tick,… how brave and noble he is.
“He’s gorgeous. Hard, but breathtakingly handsome. His skin is tan, a perfect complement to his nearly black hair. ”

“Warm. He’s very warm. And strong. Every bit of six foot four. Probably two hundred and fifty pounds. This man is big, muscular, and hard all over.”
Andre Navarro is a beast of a man.
The ex-army sniper, is fearless, strong and doesn’t scare easily.
He’d say he’s a mean man and has no heart, but I’d say he has a rough exterior and thick walls surrounding him, thanks to the life he has lived, but as a soft interior and a heart of gold!

“That’s an interesting way to describe being famous.”
Dr. Willow Barnhill became famous after saving the life of a dozen people after a tornado.
Now she’s a Tv personality that goes on talk-show and conferences to talk about Emergency preparedness.

This book is jammed packed with romance and action!
The narrative is fast paced and will keep you on your toes about what’s going to happen next.
I loved, loved, loved Andre as a hero! So strong, so conflicted, so nobel!
Willow is a fantastic heroine! Charismatic, strong, with a great humanitarian sense.
And honestly I loved that we not only had their love story, but the secondary narrative about Willows father was so interesting and add so much depth to the story!
“I love you, Willow. And I don’t fucking deserve you. But that hasn’t stopped me from falling hard for you. And when you said you love me, it was like hitting me with a lightning bolt. And to tell you the truth, I’m still not sure I’ll survive the strike.”
She lets out a slow breath. “It’s a good thing I’m an expert at reviving people.”
I loved this book!
Can’t wait for the next one in the series! I’m so pumped to read Wolf, Mako and Marshall’s stories!

Being at the wrong place at the wrong time... That's what happened to Andre and Willow.
Andre is on his way to a friend and Willow, yes... 🙈 whatever, they got into a "gang hit". Andre the protective hero he is, rescues Willow and with that, a long story starts. Because they are witnesses they get hunted.
There is a huge chemistry between the two and soon it gets 🔥😎
Like all the men of Agile, Andre doesn't want more. At least that's what he tells himself. He isn't worthy enough for a woman like Willow and she would never accept him.
But there is so much more 🙈 more both of them don't know...
I already liked Andre in the previous book. He was called "Mario Andretti" because of his driving. For all who don't know who Mario Andretti is (like me), he is a former race car driver. So you can guess how he drives 🤣
But he is also very sensitive. And EXTREM protective.
Willow is an independent woman and being under this extreme protection doesn't feel right for her. Her father was a hard guy and that's something she learned. Weakness is for weak people.
This book is again full of action and all the stuff a rescue team full of military men can have.
And yes, also twists I didn't see coming 🙈 not sure if it's just me, or if other people have the same "blindness" 🤣 But I'm happy I have it so the books are always a surprise to me 😁
I loved that there was so much about Cole and Sierra (book 1). I loved the two and Sierra was a perfect support for Willow in the toughest times 🩷
Oh, I would have loved to be with them while they were in their hiding place 🤩
Next in line is Wolf. He already applied in book 2 and had his time in this book too.
So keep an eye open for the review, because when I post this review I've already read his book, I know I'm already a little behind posting my reviews 😎

Off Limits Protector is the current installment in the Agile Security & Rescue series. It picks up right where the last one left off. Andre is in the wrong place at the wrong time when he witnesses a hit in broad open daylight. When he looks around he realizes that the woman in the car next to him is shellshocked by what she just witnessed so he springs into action pulls her out of the situation. That starts them down a path of danger and intrigue the leads them to Virginia, Iceland, and love. They have a lot of baggage to unpack to figure out that maybe they can be each other's futures.
Andre isn't a very complex guy. He is a former Marine and now works security for Agile. He keeps to himself because it's just easier that way. During the course of the story, the author explains some of his background so the reader can understand why he is so closed off. Hint, it's a pretty good reason. Willow is a doctor and tv personality who is not looking for a relationship. Her reasons are solid and believable. The two of them being instantly attracted and unable to deny the attraction also makes sense. I really like that both characters are fully formed people with good backstories. I like how they communicated with each other. There is a scene that made me kind of want to dislike Andre but afterward, he is so torn about everything that is happening and Willow thinks it through and forgives him so I can't hate him for it. Honestly, if the scene hadn't been in the story then the reader would have missed a big part of what makes Andre tick. I liked the appearances by other members of the Agile team. Overall, I thought this was a pretty good addition to the series.
What did I not like? There really wasn't anything specific. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is that I'm pretty sure I'll forget the details of this story and not really want to go back and revisit it later. I really on give 5-star ratings to books to move my world but if I could give 4 1/2, I would.
This is a contemporary romance set in Utah, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Iceland. If you like books with really bad bad guys and really dedicated good guys then give this a try. I will definitely read more books in this series. If I don't, how will I find out who wins Wolf's little old heart?

Willow and Andre are in the wrong place at the wrong time when they meet. He literally saves her life and takes her into hiding in order to keep her safe. Big, muscled and intimidating, former Special Ops Andre is used to getting in and out of dangerous situations. Having Willow, a rather famous ER trained doctor, under his care makes it tougher to hide from the drug lord who wants them both dead. From the start Willow stirs something deep within Andre, something he thought was long dead. Close proximity, shock and wanting to feel alive after a harrowing experience lead to some very hot and steamy encounters between them despite the fact that they are virtual strangers. Willow can’t believe that she let her normally rigid guard down and gave in to her fierce attraction to her rescuer, especially after she discovers his link to her estranged father.
Discovering that Andre and her father have a shared past sends Willow emotions into a turmoil. She sees the respect and closeness they share and begins to wonder if he is just like her father….cold, critical and unbending. If so, the feelings and the instinctual trust she placed in him are a big mistake that she has to correct immediately. Andre is shocked that Willow is the daughter of the man he has long admired. He is not at all happy with the distance and emotional turmoil Willow is exhibiting with her father and now him. But even her father’s heavily secured compound proves unsafe, so Andre and Willow are forced to escape and go on the run again with the help of the team of security experts who work with him. Their growing doubts and insecurities don’t lessen their attraction or desire for each other as they try to elude their pursuers. Nor do they stop their hearts from wanting something they are sure can’t happen…a future together.
I loved the characters, the action-packed, suspenseful storyline and the exotic locations featured in this book. Having read the previous books in this series, it was also wonderful to catch up with the lives of the couples featured in them. I highly recommend reading this book and the whole series. This is the 3rd book in the Agile Security and Rescue series featuring Andre and Willow's intense and suspenseful story. This book quite literally starts off with a bang when former Marine Corps sniper Andre Navarro and Dr. Willow Barnhill witness a drug related incident by vicious drug lord Jake Marvineto. One moment they're waiting in their cars at an intersection strangers the next moment everything changes since Andre knows that it's not safe for witnesses. Willow and Andre both witness a hit. Andre gets with Willow and takes her to his friend's place. They are going to a safer place, but he wants to make sure that no one has followed them. Sparks fly between them and soon Willow and Andre give into temptation. Willow is a well-known doctor so its not too easy for them to hide with her being recognized. While they're together Will learns that Andre has a connection to her father and worries about if he is anything like her father. Andre is stunned to learn who her father is and notices Willow start to pull away. Will they finally catch the bad guys? Will Willow and Andre have a future together when the dust settles?
This is an action-packed story that will have you on the edge of your seat. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

OMG Jenna has done it again.. In this book we get Andre. Boy do we get Andre. He ends up in the wrong place at the right time to start this out. He pulls up to a stop light and notices this woman next to him, she looks lost and afraid. But as he thing to himself to either ask or let her be all heck brakes out. So doing what he does best he saves her and they escape being killed. Now they are in hiding to save their lives from a mad man. Little does Andre know Willow is actually an old military buddies daughter. They grow close in this book and now have to figure out how to stop this man with the help of the security team. Loved these two characters and their love story. Loved seeing Willow get closer to her father who she felt never wanted her around. Amazing book. Looking forward the the next one with Wolf.

Andre comes across a hit and notices that a woman is in the car next to him looking very out of place. He quickly saves her and takes her to a sage place as they are now witnesses to a drug bosses' crime and are wanted. Willow is a doctor who is famous in her own right for saving people during a tornado and the chemistry between them is hot, can Andres save them so they can have their HEA? Great author and story, lots of action.

Sizzling, suspenceful superb story...
Jenna has produced yet another great page turner in this series. All read as standalones but the common connection is Agile Security company. Loved the main characters, she's a famous doctor & he's a former marine sniper who still uses his skills when necessary for Agile. Pure chance he was in the wrong place at the right time but he rescued her but they have to get off the grid until they are no longer on the radar of the bad guys. The story itself has been covered by previous reviewers so I won't comment further other than to say their chemistry was off the charts hot whilst your pulse will likely also increase further with the suspense & danger. Oh my when Andre and Willow meet under intense circumstances, it's just the beginning of a great ride/read. This book is full of emotional angst that takes the reader on quire the journey. I really enjoyed this book and the different situations that Andre and Willow face in a very short period of time. If you enjoy action packed reads while finding love, you will definitely enjoy this one. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. You will want to read this one for sure. It was my first time reading Jenna Gunn but definitely not my last time. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Wow, danger, suspense and steamy romance from the very first pages! You know your day starts out bad when you witness a gang “hit” while stopped at a red light. Now their lives are in danger, but former Marine sniper Andre Navarro has her back and well, all of her! Dr. Willow Barnhill is in the wrong place at the wrong time and if not for Andre, she would be dead. They survive the initial threat, but emotions are running high and they find an explosive way to express their feelings of being alive. He knows that he is not good enough for her; too much has happened in his past. He believes he is without honor, but he couldn’t be more wrong as he does what is necessary to keep her safe. This was a very fast read with amusing and sarcastic dialog between these two strong and entirely different characters who unexpectedly connect. This is the third book in the Agile Security & Rescue series and can be read as a standalone but you will come across previous characters. You get a good introduction to Andre in book two but you don't need to read it to enjoy this one although I do recommend them, they were very good romantic suspense. Andre and Willow are incendiary together. Andre believes that there is no good woman for him, his hands are too dirty and his soul to stained for someone as good as Willow. Willow has a love/hate relationship with her father which has tainted the way she views men. Andre is too much like her father, she wants to hate him but is also drawn to him. Andre doesn't care if he dies and is willing to lay down his life to protect Willow. Is it possible that these two are exactly what they each need? Love this series. It keeps getting better, can't wait for the next book.

this is the 3rd book in the Agile Security & Rescue series by Jenna Gunn and what an addition it is. Andre works for Agile Security and Rescue Line. Willow is a Dr.. and they both end up at the wrong place at the wrong time! They meet when Andre and Willow were at an intersection, both witnessed someone being killed by the head of a mob, now there are on the run as a hit has been put on their heads. Andre became her bodyguard and they fell for each other, but there is a twist and surprise her father had been his boss in the military! What happens now? You will have to read this amazing book to find out.

A story with action, suspenseful, mystery, secrets, emotion, and hot steamy. Andre and Dr. Willow have major chemistry between them but Andre doesn't feel as if he is good enough for Willow. They happen to witness a car accident that is a cover for a shooting. Now they are running and hiding from the mafia. They are opposites that attract and find that they work better together than separately. They are good for each other. I want to go back to the beginning of the series and read the first two books.

This book was explosive from the beginning. The steam was something you could see as you read. Great book for book 3. I love that this could be read alone or with the series. Andre and Willow have an immediate connection due to the danger they face and it grows deeper the more time they spend together. This book is full of sexy scenes, emotional moments, and danger. I recommend it.
Off Limits Protector is part of the Agile Security Rescue series. While several characters from the series are on the protection team, this can be read as a standalone. However, I did enjoy reading the other books in the series and recommend them as well.

Another successful story in this Alpha team series. Willow is a successful, high profile doctor, strong in character and determination, caught up in a killing attempt involving a well known drugs baron after becoming lost driving to her hotel. Andre is ex Marine sniper, dishonourable discharge cloud over him, working within the elite protection and security team. He manages to rescue her and gets them to safety, where he then becomes her protector until the situation becomes safe for them.
Drama, danger and threats, tears and disbelief, lies and misunderstandings all form a part of this couple's developing relationship and eventually the past issues and fears are overcome and resolved, bringing them happiness and contentment.

I got to read this book as an advanced reader copy (ARC) and it's hot! It's got all the feels and emotions rolled into one book. The men are alphas, the women are fighters. The banter is real and fun. The two main characters witness a "hit" and must go off grid in order so save their lives. With twists and turns at every corner of this book, the threat is greater for their lives but also their relationship. Willow and Andre as so different in so many ways but might just be exactly what the other one needs. Read to find out their entire story - you won't be able to put this book down. This book is book three in the Agile Security and Rescue Series. It's a stand alone book (I'm reading the others now!) but mentions other characters from other books.

The heat builds, and the fire they start together isn't something that can be extinguished easily. It just burns brighter as the story progresses. And Andre is determined that it won't be put out at all. He will protect it, and Willow, with his life.
So love the mixture of heat, tenderness, action, suspense.... truly all the feels you can imagine are written into this story!

This is a fast paced suspense filled romance that starts out as Dr. Willow Barnhill and Agile Security member Andre Navarro both witness a day time hit by a notorious drug lord. He grabs her from her car and takes her into hiding for their protection but the more time they spend together the hotter their attraction gets. Well written that will keep you on the edge of your seat and loved the characters.
