This is the Dutch edition of Fokker, a transatlantic biography, translated and edited by the author himself. Writing the biography of the Dutch aviation pioneer is no easy task, because of his larger-than-life public image and the lack of surviving documents. Dierkx's biography is sympathetic but far from uncritical.
