The Reality of Man presents a glimpse of the unique depth, range, and creative potency of Baha'u'llah's writings on such fundamental questions What is a human being? What is the purpose of human existence? Where did we come from? Is there a God? What is God like? Do we each have a preordained role or mission in life? Is there life after death? Are some religions "true" and others "false"? How can one evaluate religions? This compilation provides a sample of the Baha'i religion's vast teachings on the nature of man and answers these questions and more.
It was really good philosophically wise and I absolutely loved it but then it started getting into the idea that nature is chaotic and man must tame it which I didn’t particularly find agreeable in my case. That made me stop reading but to each their own, other than that was a really good ready and I enjoyed it!
This is a beautifully written book which discusses key aspects of life and human existence in a very comprehensible way. This is perfect for anyone seeking to broaden their understanding of religion (specifically the Bahai faith's teachings) and the nature of mankind.
This is a lovely addition of selections from the writings of Baha'u'llah and Abdu'l-Baha. However, it is not in the same order of readings or pagination as a version that was released in print over 30 years ago. For those wishing to study others with this compilation, it should be noted that the order does vary.
