This was a wonderful end to the Texas Ranger Justice mini series of the Love Inpsired Suspense Line. The story of childhood friends Levi and Susannah finding each other again and solving the final clues to the Lions of Texas mystery was a very entertaining read.

#6 Texas Ranger Justice

The 175th celebration for the Battle of the Alamo is fast approaching. Alamo Ranger Susannah Jorgenson is busy with security plans to make sure the day goes safely.

Only The Lions of Texas want to make a statement. And they need Susannah out of the way.

Texas Ranger Levi McDonnell is joining the Alamo team for the week to help with security as threats have been made to disrupt the celebration.

Can they stop the Lions of Texas, & finally catch Gregory Pike's killer before they run out of time?

A great finish to the Texas Ranger Justice continuity ~ & I love the fact this series is based on the Texas Rangers :).

You really do need to read these books in order as each book, while a story on its own, also has a plot which runs & develops through all the 6 books, building up to the grand finale in book 6. This means that you will not only want to read this book, but also the preceding 5 in the series! So if you are looking for a one off story to read, then this is not the book for you. However, if you are short of reading material & want a series to get you going, then I definitely recommend this series.

Out of Time by Shirlee McCoy Book 6 of Texas Ranger Justice
Another excellent series by Love Inspired and by six different authors. To follow the entire story line from beginning to end I suggest reading the books in the order they are written.
I have the order on my blog at Just Judy's Jumbles. In the first book we find the captain of the the Company D Texas Rangers, Gregory Pike has been murdered in his own home and there is another man shot in the room but he still lives. The coma man is finally identified and even when he comes out of his coma he cannot speak, and they all know he holds the answers. Through the other books there are murders and mysteries that get solved or add more questions. Shirlee pulls it all together in this book.

Susannah Jorgenson has been an Alamo Ranger for the past four years. A few months back she had been brutally attacked by Aaron, who seemed to be a descent guy but had a dark side. He had been shot after attempting to kill her and even though he's dead, Susannah is fighting her fears. And than her fears become real once again. Someone wants to get her removed from the head of security for the 175th celebration of the Alamo and they are having her relive Aaron's stalking tactics to scare her into it. When the Texas Rangers are sent into help, she gets a blast from her past. The one man she loved and who took her heart with her when he went off to college, Levi McDonall.

Levi cannot believe the the red haired, green eyed girl he fell for when he was ten years old is now a beautiful woman. The little five year old sprite looking out her curtains as they moved in had caught his heart and now he realizes she maybe never gave it back. But right now he has to save her life before he can let his feelings for Susie take over, and she won't go easy on him. He wants her behind a locked door until all this over. Seeing the scars where someone almost killed her is bad enough, knowing someone is still out there makes it worse. He understands when Susie tells him she needs to face her fears or she'll lose her battle to them. So he just stays close to her. Very close.

AWESOME!!!!!

This story was awesome!!! I don't know how else to describe it! It caused me experience all sorts of emotions: fear, hope, excitement, desire, love. And to top it off, God was in the midst. The characters were depending on God to get them through the ordeal they were experiencing

I liked this book. Is there a way to give three and a half stars? I liked the characters and the plot kept me interested. My only complaint is that at the end both main characters seem to step out of 'form' for one week right before the ending. It doesn't seem to serve a purpose and could have been left out of the plot. It is just kind of mentioned. Anyway, everything else holds together and I enjoyed the book.

Out of Time

Book six in the Texas Ranger Justice series. Another great story. Susannah has to overcome fear to continue her job as an Alamo Ranger after almost being killed by her former boyfriend turned stalker. When similar things begin happening again, she turns to Ranger Levi McDonnel, a childhood friend. The Rangers solve the mystery of who murdered their captain in this book.
