Rate this book
With easy-to-understand instructions, Jo Verso's Complete Cross Stitch Course leads you progressively all the way from the rudimentary steps of choosing fabrics, using an embroidery hoop, and threading a needle to the finishing touches of mounting and displaying your completed stitchery. The clear, friendly text is lavishly illustrated with step-by-step photographs, and the full range of readily available fabrics is explored in detail - Aida cloth, plastic canvas, even-weave, silk gauze, and more. In addition, the author's expert hints and tips - distilled from some 20 years of stitching experience - will help you achieve satisfying results.
The 30 delightful designs in this book are charted in color and accompanied by beautiful full-color photographs of the completed stitched pieces.
