One of the most heartbreaking things for a couple wanting to have a family is having to go through unexplained infertility. When faced with this issue, coupes usually go through tests and evaluations in order to figure out why they are not getting pregnant after trying for a year and not using any form of contraceptives. More often than not, there are underlying issues that the preliminary tests could not detect that has to be dealt with if a woman who is experiencing unexplained infertility is to have a chance at becoming pregnant. There are a number of issues that cause a woman to have difficulties with becoming pregnant. Some of these issues are inclusive of blocked tubes, issues with the sperms, low rates of ovulation, the eggs not being fertilized due either to it not being penetrated by the sperm or it not being released into the fallopian tube. There are a number of treatment methods that are used in trying to help infertile couples to have a child. These range from fertility medications such as clomid to increase the number of matured eggs that are developed in a woman who is trying to become pregnant while experiencing unexplained infertility, to more aggressive treatment methods such as controlled ovarian hyperstimulation, IUI and in vitro fertilization; both of which has had relatively good success rates; in vitro fertilization more so than IUI. Albeit these treatment options can turn out to be costly, when it results in a successful conception and delivery of a precious child, then the end would have justified the means and it will be worth it all in the end.
