I enjoyed the length of the book, as I was able to read it in one car ride. I also appreciated the easy and clear layout of the book that was simple to follow. I enjoyed the overarching message of attaining a healthier lifestyle in all aspects—relationally, emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. The book was a helpful guide to motivate and encourage the use of making habits to last and to fight for our desire to attain the healthiest version of ourselves. However, this book failed to offer any relalistic approach to solve our inability to make healthy changes in our lives and was weak in its attempt to amplify the HOW in the process with realalistic approaches that actually work. It felt shallow and unrealistic in its attempt to provide guidelines for how to change and did not deepen beyond the encouraging and motivating aspect of desiring change. However, despite this, I still enjoyed reading the book and did feel a sense of urgency and encouragement to make basic lifestyle changes and reflect on how I can improve my own health to live a more well-rounded lifestyle.
