Rosario+vampire is a good akuma based manga. It has a good art style and a good plot line. The akuma concept is good and very entertaining. Characters are good and interesting. The second season of rosario brings more plot, characters and twist. Very entertaining and darker than the first season.

OMG!!!
The revealed tragedy behind Moka... I can't!!!
It was so cool to learn more about the dark lords with an awesome lore dump about the Vampire Alucard that definitely looks like one of Dracula's from Castlevania.
I loved finding out more about the origins of the seal and the way how Moka's personality was split into those parts.
Enjoyed this just as much as I liked volume 7!!

Ok, learning more about the three dark lords with a really cool lore dump about the Vampire Alucard which looks like one of Dracula's froms from Castlevania which is cool. Also learning more about the origins of the seal and how Moka's personality was split even if the explanation is a bit odd.

This book brought so many answers and yet revealed the tragedy behind Moka. Yet it also did well to explore her family childhood life and her sister Aqua. I also loved the back story that was given to her mother and how all these things connected.

On the outside chaos reigns,as there are enemies battling Fangfang’s family.

Pretty decent vampire manga, love some of the characters and art but the story wasn’t that great! Definitely prefer the anime 😁👌❤️

This volume is both sad and full of the information you have been questioning since the series started. We get both the back story on Moka's mother and her, while also learning what the Rosario actually is. Some of it was so sad I kind of wish I hadn't read this one and just had unanswered questions.

Pretty much the entire volume consists of Moka’s backstory. We learn what her relationship with Aqua was like when they were kids. More significant vampire lore is addressed, and we learn more about Moka’s mother, Akasha. The story is intense and heart wrenching. The only comedy parts in this one are the bonus comics.

Kurumu uses an ability we’ve never seen before. She’s always been able to do it, but hasn’t had reason to until now. I’m not sure if it makes her tail gross, though…It looked slimy.

I imagine some people would probably be upset because this volume is super serious, but I love the serious volumes. The funny ones are great, too, but I enjoy both ends of the spectrum. I feel like a series needs a decent balance of both to be good. This series has some serious volumes and some funny ones, as well as some that cover both equally, so I think it’s great.

This volume doesn’t even wrap up this adventure, yet. It’s one of the longest events in the series. This book and the one before it focus on Moka’s backstory, and it looks like the next one will continue the invasion on the Huang house with the combat portion.

In this volume we finally get to see the history of Moka and how she actually got the rosary. We get a I depth look into the life of Moka and why she is as strong as she is. Despite the series telling us how strong vampires are in this series we get a look into what makes them so strong and why Moka is one of the stronger ones. We also get a tease for aha maybe Moka's toughest enemy she has ever faced. This being her sister Akua Shuzen who is the oldest daughter in the family and the strongest.

After the flashback saga ends we immediately are thrown into a fight with Fairy Tale that will continue in the next volume. Overall this series is still quite strong and I can't wait to continue the journey.

I actually had to re-read the whole series, because I had forgotten so much, before I got down to this volume.

AND BOY WAS IT EPIC. AND BRILLIANT. AND BY FAR A FAVORITE.

Don't get me wrong, I <3 R+V, but what's going on is so much better than the tropy (though fun and hilarious) stuff the manga was filled with at the beginning.

I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS SHOWDOWN. It's going to be wonderful.

ALL OF MY RESPECT.

Continues where volume 7 left off where Tsukune, Mizore and Tohofuhai are trapped in Moka's head. We learn the secrets of Moka's dual personality, the purpose of the Rosario and what really happened to her mother.

A very plot heavy volume with none of the sexy flirtatios "fluff" of previous volumes although we still get some provocative costumes. Artwork is excellent and Alucard the big bad is like Geiger's 'Alien' but with more tentacles.

Wow some shocking stuff in Moka's memories! Did not see the twists coming! Great stuff, plus loved the cute sisters and a blanket mini comic at the end.

(Also, pet peve, but what's with calling a certain powerful Vampire by their name spelt backwards? It happens in books and films, but Manga does it a LOT. I mean, it's not in copyright anymore guys, and it may have been sorta funny the first time, but now it just a reference to a reference!!!)

By far one of my favourites, the authors way of linking the past and present so that it wasn't a complete prequel was awesome.
Learning Moka, Aqua, and Moka's mother's backstories was AMAZING!
It gives you an entire, new appreciation for the lovely, pink-haired Moka!

The jorunay through Moka's mind still continued as they searched to find how to fix Moka's rosario seal, but soon Tsukune learns the truth about Moka and the reason why the seal was put on her in the first place. This secret is dark, it's almost impossible to believe.
